This documentary ‘On The Back Of A Tiger’, can, among other things, forever destroy the scientific basis of all vaccinations.  The documentary being made, which I am supporting, is the most important project of my professional life of more than 60 years and my over 40 years of struggle to end the horrors of vaccinations. If it receives sufficient distribution through grass root’s efforts, it will destroy entirely the scientific basis for vaccinations and change the paradigms in biology, medicine, and education forever, and for the betterment of our progeny.

The scientists in this documentary—-Gilbert Ling, Mae-Wan Ho, Harold Hillman, and Ray Peat—-are each worthy of Nobel Prizes for, in some instances, more than 50 years of cutting edge science ignored by, and often terrifying, the entrenched mainstream orthodoxy.
The film itself is a fine work of art.  It posits the question—-what if we don’t understand the workings of life as well as we think?

“On the Back of A Tiger” follows a group of pioneering scientists & thinkers as they rewrite the story of life, challenging science & medicine’s most sacred cows. From breakthrough ideas on water and the living cell, to radical theories of mind and brain. These ideas have already inspired an intrepid group of health-seekers who share their impressive—though unconventional—stories.

Through interviews, experiments, and animations, these theories are woven into an alternate model of life, one that could have a profound impact on our understanding of disease, aging, and consciousness.
For example, why do so many medical claims—particularly when it comes to nutrition—seem to contradict the next? Why has so little progress been made treating the most devastating diseases?

This film explores two answers: There are fundamental flaws in our understanding of biology, and there are institutionalized problems at the core of our scientific and medical establishments. Each perpetuates the other, creating the dire situation today.

Editor’s Note: In a recent video Melissa put up at Truthstream Media on the atrocities coming out of a series of Planned Parenthood undercover videos, she mentions the fact that Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist. Below, independent journalist and author Jon Rappoport breaks it all down with the woman’s actual quotes on the matter.

While Planned Parenthood has tried to ignore a lot of what you are about to read and misconstrue the rest of it, the bottom line is she said and did these things. This is who the founder of Planned Parenthood was. Once you know that, a lot of things start to make sense, like this recording of multiple Planned Parenthood representatives cheerfully taking donations from a caller who wants to specifically abort a black baby.

by Jon Rappoport

“She [Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood] even presented at a Ku Klux Klan rally in 1926 in Silver Lake, N.J. She recounted this event in her autobiography: ‘I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan … I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses … I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak … In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.’ (Margaret Sanger, ‘An Autobiography,’ Page 366).” — The Washington Times, “Margaret Sanger, racist eugenicist extraordinaire,” May 5, 2014, by Arina Grossu.

Here is a fuller version of that Sanger quote:

“Always to me any aroused group was a good group, and therefore I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan at Silver Lake, New Jersey, one of the weirdest experiences I had in lecturing. […] Never before had I looked into a sea of faces like these. I was sure that if I uttered one word, such as abortion, outside the usual vocabulary of these women they would go off into hysteria. And so my address that night had to be in the most elementary terms, as though I were trying to make children understand. In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered. The conversation went on and on, and when we were finally through it was too late to return to New York.”(Sanger, Chapter 29, “While the Doctors Consult”, p. 366.)

Author Grossu (Washington Times) continues:

“In a letter to Clarence Gable in 1939, Sanger wrote: ‘We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.’ (Margaret Sanger commenting on the ‘Negro Project’ in a letter to Gamble, Dec. 10, 1939).”

And then Grossu comments:

“79 percent of Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of black or Hispanic communities.”

Finally, Grossu writes:

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Abortion Surveillance report revealed that between 2007 and 2010, nearly 36 percent of all abortions in the United States were performed on black children, even though black Americans make up only 13 percent of our population.”

Margaret Sanger was a leader in the American eugenics movement. Some have argued that her comments about wanting to exterminate the black population were misconstrued: Sanger was actually saying she didn’t want people to get the wrong idea and think she was advocating genocide. On the other hand, Sanger wrote, in her famous 1912 essay, “What Every Girl Should Know”:

“In all fish and reptiles where there is no great brain development, there is also no conscious sexual control. The lower down in the scale of human development we go the less sexual control we find. It is said that the aboriginal Australian, the lowest known species of the human family, just a step higher than the chimpanzee in brain development, has so little sexual control that police authority alone prevents him from obtaining sexual satisfaction on the streets.”

Sanger also wrote this:

“Birth control is not contraception indiscriminately and thoughtlessly practiced. It means the release and cultivation of the better racial elements in our society, and the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extirpation of defective stocks—those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.”(“Apostle of Birth Control Sees Cause Gaining Here”, The New York Times, 1923-04-08)

Here’s another quote from Sanger:

“…apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted…to apportion farm lands and homesteads for these segregated persons where they would be…for the period of their entire lives.” –– Margaret Sanger, Birth Control Review, “A Plan for Peace”, April 1932, Vol 26, Number 4

And if that is not clear enough, Sanger wrote this:

“The main objects of the Population Congress would be […] (f) to give certain dysgenic groups in our population their choice of segregation or sterilization.” (“A Plan for Peace”, April 1932, pp. 107-108, summarizing an address to the New History Society, New York City, 1932-01-17)

Here is another Sanger quote, from her 1920 book, Women and the New Race—Chapter 5, “The Wickedness of Creating Large Families”:

“The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it. The same factors which create the terrible infant mortality rate, and which swell the death rate of children between the ages of one and five, operate even more extensively to lower the health rate of the surviving members [in large families].”

Margaret Sanger was one of America’s leading proponents of eugenics. She favored sterilization and segregation, in order to prevent giving birth among those women she deemed unfit and defective.

Planned Parenthood, of course, chooses to downplay these aggressive views of its founder. The group also avoids mentioning that Sanger was strongly opposed to abortion, favoring the eugenicist birth-control methods I just mentioned.

Where does one begin with a title like that? It could inspire and promote fear, it is my guess that the dark ones will attempt to do so. I will put my best foot forward thwarting such with the light of truths. Timeline taking, what the heck is that and how does it affect me? First off, expand yourself a little bit further than me, start thinking us. Not the collectivist us that the old world order presenting itself as the new world order is currently at play with, this is not the flimsy and plastic us, but an actual Rainbow Tribe us. One must pay attention to the seemingly small changes, tiny and dismissible differences working among you. We are being worked against at every available opportunity, and if you think that that cannot be the scenario, it is possible this article isn’t for you although, I would suggest sticking around for shits and giggles if nothing else.

Timelines are being taken, that is the case, that is the truth. Now, who are the timelines being taken by? A resounding us reverberates, and not all of us are against the nothing. Some of us have gone rabid, possibly beyond repair. There is but one reason alone why this article is to be read, it is to be read by timeline takers so… don’t keep it to yourself! Spread far and wide! Hell rename it and call it your own even while sharing the knowledge of preservation, fat chance one can be more selfish than what Life is up against. I am attempting  to bring home the severity of the situation in a way that is not conducive of the properties of fear rather, explain why one has ample reason to be anything but afraid. The following is of my own personal experience in battling the forces that seek to violate Life in every way imaginable.

If it CAN be taken away from Life to keep Life held back, understand that a servant or servants of “the nothing” WILL work for such, and likely currently is/are. There are many different forms from around the world of describing  such malevolent things, I have found calling them demons brings great impact so that’s what I’m going to run with. Do not look for them in caves with matted hair,  a disgruntled face and gnarled teeth, they do prefer beautiful forms as to match their waking arrogance. Now we “kind of” know what is taking timelines, let us delve into how it is being done. There is but one start and that is Love in your heart, that if you lack you have been beaten already. I have the ill fortune to remember much of that. But it is a step because I must also say that Love isn’t enough. Although in a normal situation it would be, more is required of the forces of Life now. Heartstrings will be tampered with, along with countless other things to be used against those who are benevolent. I fear that I cannot explain, nor in great detail, how timelines are taken, because the truth is that …that which works against life changes tactics like facial expressions. And so constantly evolving. So if you have ventured on this and thought you got it right, or if you will later on, there is no shame in saying: Maybe I’m not on top of my game. That is probably the first step to taking back timelines.

The following is an anime video from Dragonball Z of a student from a master in an alternate timeline who attained more than one way of “setting wrong things right”

I do not care, and it is too lowly of a concern to bother myself with to ask to be believed, but much like the video above I can relate in that I “slightly” remember stronger beings “taking charge” who are not here now. Perhaps they now never get to be, I cannot say for sure or not. However…WE ARE, and we are right now, in this waking moment. So fill your heart with Love for the now because that which can take it from you is always developing new and interesting ways of doing so. The good news is, they are stealing abilities because they cannot themselves create, so the more imaginably creative one can become, the more success “should” be attained. There is one thing to remember, if you are feeling comfortable, it could be because you are not in the arena for the Forces of Life. And if that is the case, I would remind such beings that greater beings aren’t here while we are, and not to throw away golden opportunities possibly and likely hard won!

This article was in part inspired by friends at, a true force of good to be reckoned with in this world!

February 18, 2015 – Press Release
Learn Northeast
Montclair, New Jersey

The Center For Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR) will introduce a provocative new sign display titled:  “All Black Lives Matter,” Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the east front of the U.S. Capitol Building, Washington, D.C., at 11:00 a.m.

The featured speaker at the related press conference will be African-American Pastor, founder of BlackGenocide.Org, and long-time CBR Board Member, Rev. Clenard Childress.  Several other African-American pastors and pro-life activists will also present brief remarks.

The first of the four disturbing signs comprising the new exhibit is themed:  “All Black Lives Matter.”  The second is “Don’t Shoot;” the third is “I Can’t Breathe;” and the fourth is “Abortion Suppresses the Black Vote.”

The exhibit was inspired by the tragic series of encounters between black suspects and white police officers in which the suspects lost their lives while being taken into custody.  CBR believes the rule of law requires that police officers who employ excessive force should be prosecuted, convicted and punished appropriately.  A young black man who raises his hands, shouting “Don’t shoot!” has a right to be apprehended unharmed.  A young black man restrained in a police choke-hold should never die of asphyxiation after declaring, “I can’t breathe.”  The evidence is often in dispute, but where proven beyond a reasonable doubt, police brutality is an intolerable outrage — especially if racially motivated. But where is the African-American community’s outrage over the hundreds of thousands of preborn black children butchered this year by the brutality of abortion?!  Why isn’t the civil rights’ slogan “Don’t shoot” accompanied by the exhortation “Don’t abort”?  When will African-American religious and political leaders acknowledge that aborted babies can’t breathe either?  A police choke-hold can be a form of torture and abortion also tortures babies to death.  As Lila Rose recently established in another of her brilliant Live Action videos, the abortion industry lies to mothers about fetal pain.

The British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology reports in a review titled:  “Fetal Pain:  Implications for Research and Practice” (September 1999), that “…It is possible that the fetus can feel pain from 20 weeks and is caused distress from interventions as early as 15 or 16 weeks [p 885].”  Brain structures activated by 16 weeks “…could be associated with unpleasant conscious experience [p. 885].” Between 13 and 16 weeks is when “…it is likely that the fetus is aware of anything that is going on in its body… [p.882].”  At eight weeks, “The fetus starts to make movements in response to being touched… [p. 882].” More than 100,000 babies are aborted after 13 weeks (about 10% of the 1.2 million total annually.  Approximately 17,000 are killed after 21 weeks (about 1.4% of the total).

A large percentage of these babies are African-American and many are dying slow, agonizing deaths.  Those who aren’t torn to pieces suffer excruciating heart attacks after being injected with lethal doses of digoxin or potassium chloride, the same poisons being used to stop the hearts of death row inmates (See, “Shots Assist in Aborting Fetuses,” August 10, 2007.”)

The Orange County Register, January 24, 2015, published a story headlined “Justices to Review Drug for Execution,”  which reported that the U.S. Supreme Court is examining the possibility that these drugs are causing inmates “intense” pain.  The Los Angeles Times, on the same day, notes that an African-American inmate named Charles Warner recently exclaimed, “My body is on fire” after receiving this lethal injection.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is rightly dismayed to report (NAACP LDF Report “Death Row U.S.A.,” Summer 2013) that black inmates comprise 42% of death row prisoners.  Why then, do they strongly support the slaughter of the far greater numbers of African-American preborn children being executed with the same lethal injections?

NAACP leader Julian Bond recently equated abortion rights with racially-related civil rights (NAACP Leader:  Right to Abort is Same as Right to Eat at Lunch Counter,”, August 6, 2014). The NAACP is so intellectually dishonest concerning black genocide that its board refuses to permit any debate on any proposed resolution related to abortion and won’t even allow the public reading of such proposals.

As these abortion photos prove incontestably, abortion is an act of violence which kills a baby, and abortion is teaching an entire generation of young African-Americans to solve its problems by resorting to violence.  Could this moral confusion be a contributing factor in the 2013 Uniform Crime Report which disclosed that 90% of black homicide victims were killed by black attackers?  The violence of black genocide may be driving the violence of black homicide in a bizarre orgy of communal self-destruction.  Not since the child-sacrifice of the ancient Israelites has any people collaborated so willingly in its own extermination.

Michael Novak points out in National Review (“Notre Dame Disgrace,” April 9, 2009), that “…Black women make up 11% of the national female population but have more than 36% of all abortions…” He adds that “…Of the 47 million children aborted since 1973, some 16 million have been black.  If those children had been allowed to live, the black population… [in 2009 would have been] about 50% larger than it…[was] –about 49 million instead of 33 million.”  At that rate, by 2014, 18 million black babies had been killed.  Planned Parenthood “abortion care” has suppressed the black vote more effectively than poll taxes, literacy tests, voter I.D. requirements and Ku Klux Klan lynchings combined.

These new signs are intended to stop this fratricidal atrocity and CBR will collaborate with African-American anti-abortion leaders across the country to display them at middle schools, high schools, universities and churches with substantial black enrollment.  Our African-American President has betrayed us.  It is long past time for us to take matters into our own hands with an unavoidable witness against this great evil.

February is Black History Month.  Black history in America is a story of kidnapping and forced labor and segregation.  Those terrible injustices flourished only as long as they were allowed to remain invisible.  The genius of the great abolitionists and civil rights activists to whom African-Americans owe their freedom was their courage in dramatizing black suffering, with iconic illustrations and photographs and films which pricked the collective conscience.  Now it is the conscience of the black culture which must be pricked, and once again the agent of change will be disturbing pictures which make visible the injustice of black genocide.  Bloody images of “Bloody Sunday” forced white people to face their responsibility for civil rights abuses.  But every day is “Bloody Sunday” for hundreds of “unwanted” preborn African-American children.  Today, however, it is the parents of those children who are shedding the innocent blood.  Sickening pictures restored racial justice and we are certain that the same sort of imagery is the only path to the restoration of prenatal justice.

Students complain that technology is invasive and unnecessary

By Paul Joseph Watson

Virginia Commonwealth University is attracting controversy after it launched a high-tech iris scanning system to control entry to the school’s cafeteria, prompting students to complain about the “creepy” new technology.

“Students won’t need their ID to enter the dining center anymore,” said Stephen Barr, director of campus services at VCU. “With iris identification, it’s as simple as a camera taking a picture of their eyes and two seconds later they walk through.”

The system is voluntary (for now) and is intended to be used to speed up queues and act as an alternative for students who forget their ID cards. The iris scan generates a number which is then tied to the student.

“The iCAM 7100 iris cameras, made by North Carolina-based ColorID, take a high-definition photo of the user’s iris and then identify 220-plus unique points. It then generates a number, which is associated with that individual meal plan holder’s iris,” states the university website.

Students took to the university’s official Facebook page to express their concerns, with one remarking, “Skynet has begun,” a reference to the malevolent artificial intelligence system in the Terminator movies.

“Creepy and unnecessary tracking of student behavior,” wrote another student.

“Unnecessary use of invasive technology. It’s a meal plan, not an issue of national security. Good grief. Orwellian much?” asked another.

Others complained that the new system was a waste of money, although the university insisted that funding had come from outside sources.

Numerous other schools and universities around the country have introduced similar systems, including George Mason University and Georgia Southern University.

Such technology does not only represent a privacy risk, it also serves to make students become accustomed with technologies that are associated with law enforcement, with some fearing that schools are increasingly resembling prisons.

As the New York Times reports, facial recognition software, once used to hunt terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan, is now, “being used with few guidelines and with little oversight or public disclosure,” in the realm of conventional crime fighting.

Did you know that for just $26 and an 8th-grade education you can hack a voting machine? This has actually been common knowledge for years, since a study at the Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois developed a hack to manipulate voting machines just before the 2012 elections.

The researchers who developed the hack were actually able to hijack a Diebold Accuvote TS electronic voting machine, one of the most popular voting systems at the time.

Two of the lead researchers in the study were able to demonstrate a number of different ways that voting machines could be hacked. They used a $1.29 microprocessor and a circuit board that costs about $8, along with a $15 remote control.

They demonstrated that the cheap hack worked from over a half-mile away.

“When the voter hits the ‘vote now’ button to register his votes, we can blank the screen and then go back and vote differently and the voter will be unaware that this has happened. Spend an extra four bucks and get a better lock, you don’t have to have state-of-the-art security, but you can do some things where it takes at least a little bit of skill to get in,” Johnson said.

As far as how easy the hack is, Johnson told Popsci that “I’ve been to high school science fairs where the kids had more sophisticated microprocessor projects.”

Watch the documentary Hacking Democracy for an in-depth look at the flawed voting machines the U.S. uses in the electoral process.

Even if your vote is actually counted (it probably isn’t), it still won’t matter who wins in the end, anyway—they are all going to carry out the exact same policies with just slightly different rhetoric behind them. It should be obvious by now that this system is not only inherently corrupt, but also failing miserably and in the midst of collapse.

(The Real Agenda) China is the role model to follow for global depopulation. Other countries follow with covert programs but no nation has been so clear about its hatred for humanity than the Asian giant.

It seems that forced depopulation measures such as mandating how many children a woman is allowed to give birth to have proven to be a big mistake.

The Chinese people are rapidly aging and China is now considering easing policies such as forced detention and abortions when mothers get pregnant with their second child.

After 40 years of imposing strict birth control policies, China seems ready to end its one-child policy.

Given the rapid aging of the Chinese population, Beijing is weighing the idea to allow couples to have a second child, while burying one of the most controversial laws in the country.

It is estimated that China has avoided the birth of at least 400 million births and now the Chinese are bearing the consequences.

Experts coincide in pointing out that it is a matter of time for China to end its suppression of couples’ desire to have a second child.

The local newspaper China Business News, cites sources from the Chinese National Commission for Health and Family Planning, whose representatives say that the change in the number of children that a family may have will come as soon as the end of 2015.

The agency, which did not respond to questions from CBN, denied however that a timetable has been established to allow a second child to all couples.

“It should have been changed long ago. Each year that the government delays the change in policy is another year that women lose to conceive a baby,” argues demographer He Yafu.

The one-child law was officially launched under Deng Xiaoping in an alleged attempt to mitigate the social, economic and environmental problems of overcrowding in the country. In doing so, China became the model for other countries to follow in the elite’s attempt to depopulate the planet due to alleged concerns regarding the scarcity of natural resources and how these resources would not keep up with global birth rates.

Only in 2015, the American Congress guaranteed $35 million to the UN Population Fund, the organization responsible for overseeing horrific population control measures around the world.

Countless members of the global elite have manifested their desire to kill most of the planet’s population and have been doing so for decades. Unlike China, these measures have been applied in secret and with the collaboration of elected governments.

But implementation has been controversial both the deprivation of the right of parents to decide freely the number of children they want to raise, and the numerous allegations of forced abortions and sterilizations.

The direct and only visible legacy of the law is an increasingly aging population that threatens the sustainability of the already fragile social security system in China and a concept of families having few children.

According to the latest outlook report by the UN, 16.8% of the Chinese population is 60 years or older.

The percentage will soar to 45.4% in 2050 and could reach 56.1% in 2100. Moreover, the Asian giant’s population of working age began decreasing in 2012 at an annual rate of between two and four million.

“The aging population is a major threat to the social security system. Once you have a large proportion of people that is not working, the pressure increases on pensions, health system and available resources to care for the elderly … The Chinese government is aware of this, but it has to perform more proactive policies,” argues Elena Glinskaya, Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank in China.

Ms. Glinskaya herself points out the failure of the one child policy: A smaller population and an older population cause society to have less resources, not more, as depopulation advocates argue. Less people at work means less production, which in turn means less employment. This results in less people providing less resources to social security and healthcare systems.

Having less people employed means having more people dependent on government programs, such as healthcare and social security, which further enlarges the size of government. More government means more bureaucracy, more out of control spending, more corruption and a more dysfunctional society.

In an attempt to alleviate this pressure, Beijing decided to partially relax the one-child policy in late 2013. The government allowed spouses who came from families with one single child to have a second one. Now, just one of the spouses needs to be from a family that had only one child.

But the move adopted in 2013 has not brought the expected baby boom: of the 11 million couples who meet this new requirement, only a million and a half have asked for permission. Experts fear that the country remains stuck in a low fertility rate permanently:

“The attitude of the public has changed. They became accustomed to this type of family. Even new policies that encourage new births might not be enough,” said He.

In a report published earlier this year, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences urged the authorities to adopt a “more aggressive” policy after finding that the fertility rate in the country is 1.4 children per woman.

It is a figure that is dangerously close to 1.3, a threshold that countries that have achieved have not managed to make up despite many incentives.

The Business Insider just reported that a new company Editas Medicine (Sounds like “edit us,” doesn’t it?) just raised $120 million to continue working with a new technology known as CRISPR-Cas9 which enables scientists to tweak defective genes or even swap them out for new ones. They’ve already been repairing defective genes in mice with it.

Considering Bill Gates is largely funding it, however, you can rest assured that if anything good actually comes of this (as in, it’s not just some creepy transhumanist science experiment), it won’t benefit the average people like those who are reading this article right now. It would only go to him and his elite buddies.

Why? Because Bill Gates is a known eugenicist who would just as soon pull the plug on your grandma to pay the salaries of ten teachers.

When the Rolling Stone asked him about breakthrough medical technologies in a March 2014 interview, Gates straight up responded that “innovation can actually be your enemy in health care if you are not careful” because “If you accelerate certain things but aren’t careful about whether you want to make those innovations available to everyone, then you’re intensifying the cost in such a way that you’ll overwhelm all the resources.”

In other words, not everyone can and should have access to beneficial “health care innovations” and we need to be “careful” that not just anyone can access them.

It’s a big club, and you aren’t in it.

Civilian Casualties, more than a Numbers Game

By CJ Werleman

Our refusal to acknowledge the human cost our violence blinds us to the malevolence of US imperialism

According to the Pentagon, US led airstrikes against ISIS have killed only two civilians: both children – “likely in Syria”.

A new report compiled by the non-profit group Airwars, which tracks coalition airstrikes in the Middle East, documents up to 591 civilian deaths from more than 50 credible incidents – involving 5,600 airstrikes.

In 1928, when Arthur Ponsonby, a British politician, said, “When war is declared, the first casualty is the truth” – he never specified what the distorted “truth” might be. If one were to examine all wars the US has engaged in modern history, however, one might conclude the casualty to be civilian death counts.

The US government and its ever-reliable mainstream media cheerleaders rarely, if ever, discuss, debate, or dwell on civilian casualties. To do so would be to acknowledge our own sins. To acknowledge our sins would be to acknowledge the US is as barbaric and uncivilised as those the US pretends pose an existential threat.

“When enemies commit crimes, they’re crimes. In fact, we can exaggerate and lie about them with complete impunity,” says Noam Chomsky in an interview featured in Imperial Ambitions: Conversations in a Post-9/11 World. “When we commit crimes, they didn’t happen.”

Now even if you file US-caused civilian casualties under the horribly euphemistic moniker “collateral damage,” you must, at the very least, file those casualties accurately. But the US has a history of underreporting civilian casualties at best, and proactively concealing at worst.

In 2004, The New York Times ran a piece about the tapes that recorded conversations between President Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. In one exchange, Kissinger says he wants to sweep the 1969 My Lai massacre, where US Marines mass murdered as many as 500 civilians, “under the rug”.

As the air campaign against North Vietnam and the South Vietnamese Viet Cong continued to fail, Nixon angrily expressed his frustration. “They’re not only not imaginative but they are just running these things – bombing jungles,” Nixon said. ”They have got to go in there and I mean really go in. I want them to hit everything. I want them to use the big planes, the small planes, everything they can that will help out there, and let’s start giving them a little shock.”

Kissinger immediately relayed the order to the Pentagon: ”A massive bombing campaign in Cambodia. Anything that flies on anything that moves.”

Chomsky says this is the “most explicit call for what we call genocide when other people do it that I’ve ever seen in the historical record”.

More than a numbers game

So how many civilians did the US kill in both Vietnam and Cambodia? Well, it depends on whom you ask. If you ask the US government, “official records,” you get to a number around 2 million. If, however, you ask NGOs that track civilian casualties, you get to a number closer to 4 million.

While there’s a big difference between 2 and 4 million, there’s an even bigger discrepancy between 4 million and the number of civilian casualties the average American believes were killed in Vietnam by US military actions. In The Gulf War: A Study of the Media, Public Opinion, and Public Knowledge, the authors conducted a poll in which Americans were asked to estimate the number of Vietnamese killed in the war. The mean answer was 100,000, which represents 5 percent of official US estimates, and 2.5 percent of more credible estimates.

Of course, neither the above official and credible figures include the estimated 500,000 who have died slow and painful deaths over the course of the post-war decades from exposure to chemical weapons – Agent Orange and other dioxins.

More recently, the story of the 2003–2010 US invasion and occupation of Iraq is a story of Bush administration officials fudging the numbers on Iraqi casualties. In a 2005 press conference, President Bush was asked about the Iraqi death toll. With what became his typical befuddled and dismissive manner, Bush declared that only “30,000 Iraqi citizens” had been killed in the conflict thus far.

Lancet, a highly regarded British medical journal, however, published an “epidemiological study” in November 2004 that concluded more than 100,000 Iraqis had been killed in “violent actions” since the invasion. In 2006, two household surveys – considered to be the most accurate methodology for calculating casualties – put the Iraqi death toll at somewhere between 400,000 to 650,000 – thus making a mockery of Bush’s “30,000.”

“This inattention to civilian deaths in America’s wars isn’t unique to Iraq,” observes John Tirman, author of The Deaths of Others: The Fate of Civilians in American Wars. “There’s little evidence that the American public gives much thought to the people who live in the nations where our military interventions take place.”

Tirman likens US indifference to civilian casualties to what social psychologists call the “just world theory,” which argues, “Humans naturally assume that the world should be orderly and rational. When that ‘just world’ is disrupted, we tend to explain away the event as an aberration” and that when wars start to go badly for the US, Americans tend to “ignore or even blame the victims”.

US indifference

America’s indifference to civilian casualties is also rooted in racism via what cultural historian Richard Slotkin calls “the myth of the Frontier,” which posits America is always trying to subdue a “savage enemy” and that it is this myth that drives the way Americans see themselves and the world around them. “The savage enemy kills and terrorises without limit . . . in order to exterminate or drive out the civilised race (and) the civilised race learns to respond in kind. A cycle of massacre and revenge is thus inaugurated that drives both sides toward a war of extermination,” writes Slotkin.

Indifference to foreign “savages” and suffering is even codified into the US public education system. Susan Fujita, an assistant professor of US modern history, carried out a study of US history textbooks that were published in the United States between 1949 and 2010.

Of 58 textbooks that mentioned the atomic bomb, only 42 mentioned the civilian death toll of Hiroshima and only 18 mentioned the civilian death toll of Nagasaki. For Hiroshima, 35 of the textbooks gave a lower figure than official United Nations estimates. For Nagasaki, nearly all gave a lower figure than official United Nations estimates.

So what were the United Nations estimates? For Hiroshima, 140,000 killed civilians. For Nagasaki, 70,000 killed civilians. Now compare these estimates to official US estimates, which were carried out by the US Strategic Bombing Survey, which had killed civilians at 70,000 and 35,000, respectively.

Our refusal to acknowledge the human cost our violence inflicts upon those we seek to dominate, subjugate and occupy blinds us to both the realities of war and the malevolence of US imperialism. “It is in the nature of imperialism that citizens of imperial power are always among the last to know – or care – about circumstances in the colonies,” wrote the late philosopher Bertrand Russell.

Chomsky says we’re the last to know because of “massive propaganda campaigns” that keep us from knowing and that “when you’re silent about your own crimes, that’s propaganda, too”.

Go ahead. Conduct your own poll the next time you’re chatting with Americans. Ask how many civilians were killed in Vietnam, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Iraq, Syria, Panama, Cuba, Nicaragua, Korea, etc. I bet they either don’t know or care. And that’s what – as Chomsky wrote in a 2014 op-ed – makes America the “leading terrorist state and proud of it”.

Planned Parenthood paid out bonuses for convincing women to have abortions

In what many believe should serve as a nationwide precedent, the Governor of Indiana, Mike Pence, signed a bill this week to make it a State law that aborted babies must be buried or cremated.

The new law comes in the wake of the exposure of the cottage industry of clinics and bio-medical companies profiting from selling tissue, body parts and organs from fetuses, with particular focus on Planned Parenthood officials discussing the issue with undercover journalists.

The legislation, known as the aborted fetal remains bill (SEA 329), sets out strict guidelines with regards to how facilities that offer abortions must dispose of the remains.

The bill states that the pregnant woman to choose to pay for one of the two sanctioned forms of disposal, after it came to light that the Indianapolis Planned Parenthood clinic was disposing of aborted babies down a drain into the sewer system – literally flushing them down the toilet.

The legislation effectively states that aborted babies should be treated in the same fashion as miscarried babies.

“This law creates rules for how to appropriately dispose of aborted fetal remains,” said the author of the bill, State Sen. Liz Brown (R-Fort Wayne).

“Establishing standards brings respect to the woman, abortion staff and the aborted child. These standards require the facility to dispose of the baby’s remains properly, unless the woman chooses to bury her baby. Hoosiers want their government to ensure the bodies of aborted babies are treated with dignity and this law accomplishes that.”

“We’re thankful for Gov. Pence’s commitment to the pro-life cause and for the legislators who boldly passed these bills,” said Mike Fichter, President and CEO of Indiana Right to Life. “The aborted remains bill is especially timely, as Americans pause to consider what becomes of the tiny lives ended in abortion procedures. We believe the aborted remains bill provides dignity to the babies, their mothers and the abortion facility staff.”

Governor Pence has also instructed the Indiana State Department of Health to conduct investigations into local Planned Parenthood facilities, to make sure they are not breaking the law.

“Every Hoosier should be deeply troubled by allegations that Planned Parenthood affiliates are engaged in the trafficking of human remains. If true, this is not only illegal, it is morally reprehensible. Under federal and state law, the buying or selling of human body parts is a felony and, as Governor, I have an obligation to make sure this is not happening in Indiana,” Pence said.

Meanwhile, in related news, a Texas Planned Parenthood clinic director has revealed that she and her colleagues profited, and were given bonuses for convincing women to have abortions.

Abby Johnson, who quit her role in 2009, says that women were only told about the “research options” for fetal remains after they had signed agreements to have abortions.

“We never discussed, [researchers] may want just a leg, or an arm, or these specific organs,” Johnson told The Daily Signal. “That would create a sense of humanity in their unborn child.”

“We would tell the client that we are participating in a study and she has an opportunity today to donate the tissue that’s removed from her uterus to a research laboratory where they will be working on life-saving treatments for various diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or other types of medical studies,” she added. “We would tell her this is an opportunity for her to possibly save the life of someone else by donating this tissue.”
