COMMON CORE MUST BE STOPPED!

Our children are our most precious resource, our most prominent responsibility and the future of this society, if we fail them … We fail America and humanity itself. COMMON CORE is playing a major role in that failure!

We have allowed corporatist entities of all persuasions, as well as corrupt and complicit government officials to hijack the most vital aspect of said responsibility … their education.

No longer is free thinking rewarded as a mechanism of success, now being vanilla, blending in, or being a part of the herd is promoted. The intent is to facilitate through Common Core a generation of followers not leaders who would in turn NOT challenge the system, but mindlessly conform to and perpetuate the system.

The title itself “Common Core” should immediately set off warning bells, it sounds like something straight out of a Communist handbook. There is nothing common about children other than maybe their age. Children are individuals as much as you and I, each with their own identity, personality, strengths and weaknesses.

The concept of one size fits all education should raise huge red flags! Even if the curriculum is worthy (as you will see below it is anything BUT worthy), we do a serious injustice by forcing every child to conform to the expected norms of average. There are those who would excel, just as there are those who would lag behind. But through this mechanism of forced conformation those who would excel in one subject or another are frustrated and forced into this concept of conformity forever damaging their initiative and drive to excel … settling into a pre-programmed society of passive and obedient citizen consumers.

What we put forth here is a frontal attack on the concept of Common Core, its destruction of the will to excel, its destruction of the concepts of individualism, its destruction of the idea of free thought and self determination, and Its blatant and intentional Dumbing Down of our children to an end that serves a few all powerful oligarchs

Common Core has been instituted by corporations, not educators, funded in the millions by Bill Gates, eugenicist, and other corporate giants. What is their purpose? It is to educate all children into being obedient workers who will then be consumers of their products and these globalists will employ any means necessary, no matter how depraved, to achieve their ends. Communism comes in very handy.

People are getting wise; let’s hope more and more states and educators will back out of Common Core and their globalization plans. Children should learn the basics of traditional reading, writing and arithmetic and then figure out themselves what they want to study. They know better than anyone else.

Proof Common Core Is Killing Common Sense

My brain hurts enough just reading news stories about common core, so I know it can’t be good for the kids who are mercilessly subjected to it firsthand.

In this assignment, seven-year-old kids in 2nd grade were told that they were wrong if they simply subtracted one number from another to find the correct answer. That’s apparently not considered the “friendly” way to do math. Instead, they were told to add numbers to each number first, then subtract *those* numbers to get the right answer.

Anyone else feel an aneurysm coming on…?
