The Fundamental Transformation of America

I was born in the mid 1950’s into a country that was seen by the world as Camelot, the shining castle on the hill.
An America that the world once admired as the land of promise, opportunity, freedom and liberty.
Where people from across this ever shrinking globe once dreamed of immigrating to this great nation to build a new life and raise a family free of poverty and oppression and make their fortune.
Where a man could say what is on his mind without fear of being throw in prison.
Where our government was made up of dedicated people who’s only wish was to serve the American people.
Where a man’s land was his in perpetuity to use as he sees fit for the betterment of his family.
Where a man could work hard his entire life, and look forward to a bountiful retirement he has prepared diligently for.
Where work was plentiful and opportunities for the the ambitious and resourceful were limitless.
Where our industrial might and intellectual prowess made us the true leaders of this world.
Where the world looked upon us and the guardians of freedom and liberty.

When Patriotism turns to Distrust and Fear
I never feared as I do today that because I speak out for the freedoms and rights we are supposed to enjoy, my front door may suddenly burst in and I will be forcefully removed to never be heard from again.
Today I fear for those who have families and I wonder if, by involving themselves in patriotic activism, they are dooming themselves to a dark fate.
I feel sorrow for my grandchildren who may never know what it is like to look at the American flag and have pride swell their bosoms, but instead feel only fear for a repressive authoritarian government.
I am deeply concerned for the innocent citizens of the world who we as the most powerful and brutal, militarized nation on this planet will invade and occupy, not even for our interests but for for the interests of the self proclaimed ruling oligarchs. I weep for the masses who die daily to advance the interest of this (international) Cabal.
I fear for the up and coming generation who may never know the freedom and prosperity I knew as a young adult because this no longer fits into the master plan of these soulless individuals we call the one percent.
I pray for the patriots of this once great nation who may soon sacrifice their lives to try and throw off the yoke of tyranny forcing us all into slavery to serve the privileged few.

America used to be such a giving nation, a nation who’s people gave more from their own pockets to charitable endeavors than any other on this planet. The first nation to send aid and personnel to any disaster scene in a crisis anywhere on this planet. We were giving and philanthropic.
Yet today we live in a country that has morphed so radically that feeding the poor is now frowned upon and even made illegal in some cities. When did we transform from a nation of “Please don’t feed the animals” to a nation of “Please don’t feed the people” ???

When Oligarchs Rule
We live in a country today that no longer belongs to We The People, but instead is ruled and raped regularly, for what ever can be gleaned from us, by a greedy and all powerful Oligarchy. America is now a nation controlled by a global cabal, and we have morphed from a Republic governed by Democratic principals to an owned Corporatocracy of such magnitude that the worlds most powerful governments bend and kneel to their wishes and needs. We the people, our needs and wants, our dreams and ambitions, are now inconsequential to the power and greed of this entity we call the one percent.
Today a vast majority of our elected leaders, those sworn to uphold the Constitution are all traitors to this very document, and long past anything we can be proud of. Their loyalties no longer belong to We The People but instead to those who own them. Laws are no longer passed to protect the freedoms and interests of the people, but instead to support the corporate entities that rule this country. If you don’t believe this then please get your head out of your butt and look around you … the proof is clear and abundant!
America today bears little resemblance to what I knew when I grew up in the early 1950’s. This oligarchy that has a strangle hold on America hides behind a thin facade of “democracy” allowing us to believe (wrongly) that we are still our own masters. But in actuality what has transpired is the ultimate and intentional destruction of the industrial and social fabric of the United States … and thus the most powerful middle class this planet has ever experienced.
This is relegating We The people to third world status while these oligarchs get richer and accumulate more power onto themselves, culminating in the total destruction of the most powerful, richest and freest society in history, and all for the benefit and gains of a very few.
Today America is hated and feared by a vast portion of the world as even the old Soviet empire never was. We are by far the most powerful military entity on this planet, and this big stick is wielded by these oligarchs who control this nation for their own benefit. They extort whatever they wish from the global community via the mechanisms of military blackmail or military force.

So Is This The Death Of America?
My life has been invaded by fear, sorrow and remorse because this is all being done in our names, by a county I was once so proud to be a citizen of, and I hide my face in shame.
So what do we do? Do we rise up and push back against tyranny, to leave a free and prosperous America for our children, or go back to sleep and stop complaining? One of the biggest reasons for the failures in this country today IS the failure of We The People to participate in the governing of this country, or simply put, to hold our servants accountable. We The People are the check and balance of a true Republic and our failure to participate in its governance, or to rise up against its tyranny, will be the fatal blow that will facilitate the very ruination of America.
That said, is the Fundamental Transformation of America, as promised by our leaders complete … Or is there still time to push back the continuous encroachment of Tyranny …
Understand that if we chose to do nothing as so many of us may, the true ending of this sad and shameful story can only be, God bless the United States of America … May she rest in peace!
I for one will never acquiesce to Tyranny … and you say ???
