Horrible Sleeping Disorders That Can Be Cured By Hypnosis

Sleep is a necessary part of anyone’s day in order to stay healthy, allow the body to complete functions and stay on top of your game. When issues and disorders crop up during the body’s normal sleep patterns, the day’s activities are severely impacted. Below are five sleep disorders that can be addressed through hypnosis.

Insomnia

Depression, stress and anxiety all contribute to a struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep for a productive amount of time (typically six to eight hours are recommended for healthy sleep). In order to face insomnia and overcome the issue, a hypnosis session can increase the abilities of the subconscious to handle stressors and provide the body the relaxed state needed for better sleep.

Restless Leg Syndrome

Pain and other unpleasant sensations in the legs while asleep can cause a constant desire to move the legs. This in turn results in a less restful sleep and eventually a significant impact on the person’s waking relationships and work efforts. A session of hypnosis can help the subconscious handle the perceived pain during a sleep state and cut back on the body’s interference with its own efforts to get rest.

Sleepwalking

Individuals who are stressed, have consumed alcoholic beverages to a level of intoxication and those who have gone without sleep to the point of significant deprivation tend to sleep walk, typically during the first or second sleep cycle stage. Sleepwalkers can also be dealing with hormones due to pregnancy or menstruation or have various conditions that include post traumatic stress disorder, multiple personality disorder or gastroesophageal reflux. These conditions increase the likelihood of sleep walking.

The use of hypnosis can help calm the body in relation to various disorders and cut back on the chances of sleep walking.

Teeth Grinding

Anxiety, depression and conditions such as Parkinson’s disease typically lead to teeth grinding, also known as sleep bruxism. The use of antidepressants and recreational drugs have also been found to cause this condition. In order to address the problem and avoid dental problems and discomfort, hypnosis can be used to cut down on the stress in one’s life and also to help cut out the desire for recreational drugs.

Sleep Paralysis

For some individuals, a dream that is interrupted in the REM stage of sleep can lead to a sensation of paralysis, both during the sleep process and when they awaken. The body releases hormones to relax muscles and provide comfort while sleeping. This is a natural occurrence and leads to paralysis while asleep. However, the issue arises when those hormones are present when the individual awakens and still has to deal with the paralyzing effects.

Hypnosis can address the tendency to awaken during a dream and the process and reaction experienced by the individual when they do awaken.

In the end, hypnosis is a form of mind persuasion and working to persuade the mental faculties to avoid causing issues during sleep means a more productive sleep process and in correlation, a more productive day.
