Is Saudi Arabia worried about Trump?

by Ralph Ely | TLB Editorial Staff

Prince Turki al-Faisal of Saudi Arabia can’t believe that Americans like Donald Trump. The prince spoke at a Washington Institute For Near East Policy dinner last week. (story appears below) In some of his comments he said, “For the life of me, I cannot believe that a country like the United States can afford to have someone as president who simply says, ‘These people are not going to be allowed to come to the United States,” …referring to Trump wanting to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.  Al-Faisal cautioned his listeners, “I just hope you, as American citizens, will make the right choice in November.” Strange, the prince did not mention Oil. Humm…  He did not mention political contributions. Humm…

OK, let’s take a “prince break” and check out how the $$$ flows and why the Saudi’s don’t like the idea of The Donald being President.

Really dear Prince. How many up-front promises have you received from the Clinton Foundation on behalf of the Dem’s candidate? How much do you have to conceal regarding the Saudi involvement in 9-11? How about some of the secret conversations you had with Hillary about protecting your Global interests and Arming Your Country to the teeth when she was at the State Department? Look, the bottom line is Prince Turki al-Faisal wants everyone to keep dipping their “dip stick” into his oil well and paying via whatever Ponzi scheme the Banksters have in place for the consumer.  (RE)

Prince Turki al-Faisal, during a speech in Washington D.C.,  took a moment to ponder aloud how Americans would even consider electing Donald Trump as president.

The Prince did not mince his words one bit.  From the statement below, you can see just how upset the foreign leader is regarding the rise of Trump.

“With carefully chosen words, Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former ambassador to the U.S., warned against a Trump presidency. ‘For the life of me, I cannot believe that a country like the United States can afford to have someone as president who simply says, “These people are not going to be allowed to come to the United States,” Turki said on Thursday evening, referring to Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the country.

“’It’s up to you, it’s not up to me,’ Turki continued, speaking at a Washington Institute For Near East Policy dinner hosted at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. ‘I just hope you, as American citizens, will make the right choice in November.’”

As U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia are deteriorating, is it possible that this princely posturing is merely a setup for a showdown between the two countries should Trump win the election?  Only time will tell.
