Leaked Assange Deal Conversation With Kelly – Intel Agency Misfits or Patriots?

Rep Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) is concerned that the content of a highly sensitive conversation between him and White House chief of staff John Kelly has been leaked. The conversation regarded confidential information related to his efforts with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Rohrabacher is believed to be attempting to broker a deal with the administration in which Assange would produce alleged evidence that Russia did not provide the hacked emails released by WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential election.
In a phone call with General Kelly on Wednesday, Rohrabacher described a possible agreement to pardon Assange or “something like that” born of his August London visit. Rohrabacher contends that someone leaked information about the call, possibly in an attempt to undermine his ability to speak directly with President Trump about WikiLeaks.
The Wall Street Journal, in reporting the content of the leak and spreading it, stated that Rohrabacher used the word “deal” in his conversation with General Kelly when negotiating the pardon or “something like that.” In exchange Assange would provide files on a data-storage device proving that Russia did not hack Democrat emails that WikiLeaks published during the 2016 campaign.
Rohrabacher stipulated in the leaked content that Assange “would get nothing, obviously, if what he gave us was not proof.”
Rohrabacher refused to confirm quotes attributed to him in the leak, stating his office had no role in disclosing the content of the call. He said, “I don’t know who it is, all I know is I’m up against an array of very powerful forces, including the intelligence services and major newspapers that are basically allied with the liberal Left who have every reason to undermine communication on this issue.”
He added, “Look, there are very powerful forces at work. We’ve got the NSA, the FBI and the CIA, all of whom confirmed a major lie that was being used for political purposes and a lie that was repeated and repeated in order to undercut our new president.”
“You’ve got people who are obviously just trying to cover their ass for mistakes they have made,” Rohrabacher noted of the deep state intelligence operatives. “They will probably do their best to keep Trump from knowing about this and knowing about his options to expose this.”
Then again, if that were their objective, they failed miserably by leaking it to the press. One might think the information could have died a much more private death had it gone no further than the Presidential road block that is General Kelly. Perhaps it was a fear that Kelly would sit on it in service to his globalist masters that prompted a patriot within the Intelligence community to raise the public’s awareness and force his hand.
Now the world knows that Assange can prove the Russia, Russia, Russia is the Clinton Obama Soros hoax that Trump has always claimed it was. All our President has to do is reward the heroic behavior of Mr. Assange. It seems like an easy decision to make.
