Lessons From History – Time To Drain The Swamp

When I was a young boy living on the farm in Southern Illinois. I heard a story that went something like this.;

There were two farmers, both of whom owned about the same amount of land as the other.  Every morning like clock work they would get up at the crack of dawn and go out and plant crops, which they would harvest when the time came. Then take their crops to the surrounding towns and sell them to the local markets.

 .

On the 7th year however, one of the farmers decided to forego planting that season. For his father had taught him that in order to keep the land in good condition for the next planting season. He would need to rotate the soil thus allowing the nutrients to rebuild themselves back up.

 .

Of course, his neighbor thought this idea of his neighbor was stupid for his father had never taught him that lesson. He ran around telling everyone what idiot his next door neighbor was for rotating crops. Yet, no matter how hard the one man tried he could not make his neighbor understand the soundness of his actions. So, he let him ramble on, knowing that he was going to have to find out the hard way.

Well, when the next year came and the farmer went back out into his field again so he could plant crops for that upcoming season. Much to his surprise the soil wouldn’t support them. And because so, the seeds died out right away.  Leaving the poor fellow no way to support himself or his family. And in the end, he lost everything.

The moral of the story is that we the guardians of this great land of ours need to act responsibly and take care of our heritage which has come at a great cost over the years. For it has been handed down to us through the blood, sweat and tears of former generations. Only, then we will be able to take care of those that do not have the same opportunities we do.

 .

Everyday it seems as if the American public is being bombarded by some kind of news about President Donald Trumps’ connection to the Russian election interference.

.

Yet even more concerning is how far the liberals and mainstream media are willing to go. Just so, they can oust this President and bring back their own candidate into the Oval office by hook or, by crook.

.

History is often a good teacher when it comes to things like this. All one has to do to appreciate its far-reaching wisdom is remember what the 16th President Abraham Lincoln said, “A Nation divided against it self – cannot long endure.”

.

Whether we realize it or not, we are currently undergoing an internal civil war, the likes of which has not been seen in this country since the later part of the 60’s and early 70’s.

.

You may not remember it but back then protestors and drug induced radicals were quite the common site on television. Tossing bottles at riot police and national guardsmen. Yet, at the same time they burned the flag in the streets and spit on returning soldiers who were coming home or going over to Vietnam.

 .

It was, and still is the tales that nightmares are made of.

 .

As we know, since taking office President Trump has been facing countless attacks from major news organizations who are back in part by left wing nutcases. It’s staggers the mind to even think how he will survive the continuous onslaught. But what makes it worse is that the Department of Justice starting with Sessions himself and the Republican party can’t seem to do their job in order to get this whole mess stopped. Not to mention, the constant assault by entrenched Government Officials, from both the FBI and CIA’s ranks, who we know violated their oath of office when they deliberately leaked sensitive information to the press and now we have learned that they even spied on the Trump campaign using the made up excuse that they were looking into Russian interference.

.

Let me say this straight up. This claim of their’s was nothing more than a fabricated excuse to validate their illegal actions. At no time has any organization like the FBI or CIA ever been allowed to selectively mess with the election process of the President of the United States. Not in the past and certainly it should not be allowed today, right now. But now there is evidence beyond a shadow of a doubt that the FBI, the Justice Department and CIA deliberately jumped right smack dab in the middle of this foray with the rest of the dirty politicians out there. Using their sacred trust and position to help create a false and flagrant accusation against the candidate of the people for the oval office. Not realizing that by their actions, they are and were smearing the honor of those who came before them and those that still fulfill their duties within the agency under this dark curtain of corruption now overshadowing the entire country.

.

In fact, the FBI, the Justice Department and the CIA know all to well, that they are required by law to remain neutral in matters like this. To show no bias whatsoever for one side or the other. Or, to aid a certain group of people who have political affiliations to any party.

.

This is the kind of chaos in my opinion that with out a doubt opens the door for a one-party oppressive government if allowed to continue on unchallenged. And would surely place every freedom loving American’s rights, directly into the hands of those who have no honor whatsoever. All just so, they can push their agenda on the middle classes population once there is nothing or no one on God’s green earth to block them from taking over control.

We can not allow fanatics like these to have carte blanch to do whatever they want. For if we do, then we ourselves will be just as guilty of selling our nation’s security down the road as they are.

.

Now I don’t know why most liberals and leftwing politicians do what they do and probably never will. But it’s clear to me that they don’t have the welfare of the nation interest at heart the way most patriotic Americans do.

.

Either they are out of their minds, or they are down right ignorant to their own misguided actions, I don’t know which.

.

But it does beg the question. What the hell is wrong with them? Didn’t their parents ever teach them any kind of commonsense at all?

.

It doesn’t take a first grader to know that ever since the Reagan era, the very fabric of our financial well-being has been undergoing a constant internal hemorrhaging. And most of those who serve in Congress or the Senate, seem either unwilling to plug up the leaks before it gets out of hand. Or they are part of the group taking advantage of it. I don’t know which.

.

But, you seriously can’t tell me that our nation can afford to let this kind of haphazard mentally continue on unchallenged for the next ten years or so. Not when we seem to be adding more debt to the national deficit than ever before.

.

The debit I speak about is now bordering on hitting the thirty trillion dollars mark soon. Let me tell you that if that happens. You can bet we will be in way over our heads. Yet, what’s even worse. Is that our own government officials seem to have no concern about the outcome of all this madness, spending taxpayers money as if there were no tomorrow.

.

To me, they keep compounding the problem each time they decide to meet and hold budget hearing.

.

Individuals like Senator Nancy Pelosi, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Chuck Schumer and others in my opinion have served way to long. For simply put, they are the ones who keep floating this ugly beast at us every year.

 .

They are also the same outspoken critics who try to keep President Trump from getting this whole mess back under control, the same way President Reagan did when he took office back in the 80’s. Nothing could be more factual than that!

.

The bottom-line here is that this is not about discrimination, or about depriving those who come here of a better life or, who are seeking to improve their conditions. It’s about those people behind the scenes who fear losing their power and their ability to control both houses and the government itself.

.

In fact, it is because of their longevity in office that these individuals are able to hold virtually every single person in this country hostage over their irresponsible actions.

.

Why is it I have to ask myself the voters of their state have somehow forgotten the fact, that these individuals I’m speaking about, were part of the old system, which helped to build this mountain of debt we now faced with as a country. Then of course let’s not forget the mainstream media’s part in this as well. For they are not clean one owners in this matter.

.

Their actions are not in any way above reproach here, than those who created the crisis in the first place. Yes, in my opinion, they are just as irresponsible as the politicians who help to build this pyramid scheme now taking place on the American public. For, there isn’t a day that goes by that they don’t love to get their two cents in worth.

.

I’ve never seen a private organizations like them so out of control in my life. The way they keep putting out one false story after another just so they can stir the public up. It seems the only thing that the mainstream media is good for anymore. Is adding a slightly different twist to the tale which really has no basis or foundation to it whatsoever. Which is just like the Enquirer does when they put out an article. All just so, they can build up circulation and ratings, rather than cover the actual news the way they should.

.

To me this is nothing more than aiding and abetting those on Capital hill that are currently trying to impede the President’s ability to get the job done. To prevent him from keeping the promises he made during his campaign.

.

As we all know Trump is doing his best to drain the swamp. But there is no arguing the point, that we are facing a much bigger problem than just a thirty trillion dollar deficit hanging over our heads. This thing is threatening to grow into forty, and then fifty. Until the next thing we know, the country will end up in bankruptcy.

.

This is the kind of reckless indifference if allowed to expand exponentially will surely test the limits of any freedom loving nation metal. And when that happens, it will send this country of ours spiraling into one of the worse recession that we’ve ever faced. Even more so than, the “Great Depression,” which, hit families all across the country and businesses alike.

.

Most of us can’t even imagine what we would do if the economy collapsed today. For it would more than likely affect a good portion of the population. Then add to that the fact that our nation’s ability to be a force for good would be gone completely and eradicated. Leaving the world out there open to those countries who would have no qualms about taking away everybody’s freedom.

.

I truly doubt that this is where most of us want to go. Sitting idly by and watching while our form of government crumbles right before our very eyes.

.

Unfortunately, though that’s what happening right now and right here. For there are those who refuse to wake up and smell the coffee when it comes to considering these kinds of possibilities.

.

Instead, they would rather go around wearing rose colored glasses that say our resource are boundless.  Not realizing that we as a nation can no longer afford to keep pretending that there is nothing to worry about.

.

No one should have to tell us as a person exactly what kind of irresponsible attitude our elected officials have demonstrated over the last twenty years. Or, how much trouble they have caused because they refused to address the problem when they first had the chance.

.

Yet, both the liberals, and the mainstream media, along with democrats, continue to try to put the blame on the President for what took place. But as most Americans know this problem was going on way before he ever entered office.

.

I mean, give me break here! If Trump were to give in to the pressure being applied by all these different factions who I call numbskulls and nuthouses of the worse kind. We as a nation would surely find ourselves in deep trouble. Think about that!

.

The money now coming out of all American taxpayers pockets can only go so far, that is a fact hitting us right between the eyes. For let’s break it down into a commonsense examination of the whole situation. Part of it is being funneled into the social service programs in order to assist those who come here without work skills (the illegal aliens). It also, aids whether we know it or not the DACA recipients. Even though they had at least ten to fifteen years to apply for citizenship but didn’t for fear of losing those funds.

.

But let us not leave out foreign interests payments over the years by our government to Pakistan, Egypt and other nations in order to maintain a so called partnership with those entities who really have not served our interests in the region but took the money on false pretense. Then we have government’s out of control spending each year. All these things and more are linked together in one common bond and cannot afford to be tripled or quadrupled if our democracy we hold so dear is to survive.

So, I tell you that we as citizens are going to have to take a more proactive approach if we want a future for our children, our grandchildren and their children. To do any less would most assuredly guarantee the outcome which I’ve already spoken about. And we will be that farmer who did not responsibly manage our land.
