Both of these outstanding individuals are whistleblowers educating the public about this detrimental chemical many know as a weed killer marketed under the name “RoundUp”.

While “RoundUp” is what is most commonly known, there are other products glyphosate is used in as the patent on glyphosate has expired. This means the chemical can be sold anywhere and placed in a variety of products.

“The biggest producer of glyphosate” Mitra says is “China”. He goes on to stated that it is marketed back to the U.S. and sold to make “RoundUp”.

Tony shares that there is two challenges. One side of the problem is that when the herbicide is sprayed, animals who forage consume higher levels of the chemical than humans. The other side is that on a biological level glyphosate mimics “glycine” the most prevalent amino acid. So, it gets to the DNA and RNA and is used to make proteins. These proteins end up malfunctioning. Therefore, depending on where the proteins end up within the body, there can be significant problems.

Rose Stevens talks about how Canada has the highest digestive issues and bowel disorders in the world along with the highest glyphosate ingestion, Rose comments about how alarming the correlation is. She recommends eating organic and reading Tony Mitra’s book “Poison Foods of North America”, along with taking probiotics. Her research mirrors much of what Mitra has discovered.

Both Tony Mitra and Rose Stevens talk about how “sauerkraut” can help to combat these concerns. The process of making sauerkraut (fermentation), can break down the glyphosate.
