Thank God For Disneyland [Measles Outbreak] Says “Health” Speaker at NYU Vaccine Event

Preface by Christopher Wyatt | TLB staff writer/documentary producer

The following article from Age of Autism hits the nail on the head regarding how SB277 was passed in California. This was about threatening people and forcing people to accept the idea that their bodies and the bodies of their children belonged to the state and big pharma. I am begging you to read the article and watch the videos, then discuss them with your friends, family, and anyone that you can. (CW)

Thank God For Disneyland [Measles Outbreak] Says “Health” Speaker at NYU Vaccine Event

Dr. Suzanne Humphries attended a meeting on promoting vaccines at NYU in New York City on November 21, 2016.  The speakers for this conference were California State Senator Richard Pan, Dr. Paul Offit and law professor Dorit Reiss.

The title of the conference was “Confronting Vaccine Resistance,” and the audience consisted of medical students and other in the medical profession.

The video starts with NYU law professor Mary Holland and Suzanne Humphries, MD on their way into the talk.  Mary said she wanted to ask the panel how their perspective squares with informed consent.

After the three hour conference, Suzanne discussed what was said at the talk with Polly Tommey on the Vaxxed Bus. (Suzanne’s remarks are transcribed below.)

During the 45 minute interview, Suzanne described how pro-industry forces see parents who question vaccines, and it’s clear that medical students are being schooled to ridicule, intimidate and threaten those parents who are concerned about safety. Doctors and future doctors attending this session couldn’t possibly miss the thinly veiled message that anyone in the medical profession who doesn’t support every vaccine 100 percent will be dealt with severely. Dr. Bob Sears was a focus of the pro-industry panel as well as Dr. Andrew Wakefield.

Sears was held up as an example of bad medical practices, in other words: this is what happens to dissenting professionals. Andy was the fraud, and to convince the audience, they lied about what was in the Lancet article.

I felt I needed to transcribe exactly what Suzanne said to Polly because there is so much important information here. We can all be grateful that Suzanne had the opportunity to be there and hear this firsthand.

It’s clear that med students are being indoctrinated to believe that it’s their duty as doctors to vaccinate every child. Even giving a medical exemption will be scrutinized. If these industry spokespeople get their way, there won’t be any need for laws to remove exemptions—doctors simply won’t give any.

It isn’t enough that Wal-Mart offers shoppers vaccines for flu, pneumonia, shingles, meningitis, hepatitis, and even HPV, the audience was told that even dentists should be vaccinating their patients!

These medical students were told that there is no such thing as a serious vaccine reaction, and informed consent is not needed when it comes to giving vaccines. Above all, they heard that there is no need to investigate the claims of anyone talking about side effects.

Doctors are being taught to demand compliance from parents–No exceptions.

What really disturbed me was how readily Dr. Pan talked about what he threatened to do to the legislators in California if they didn’t support SB277.

These industry supporters will go after lawmakers as well as doctors.

The doctors were told that there are plans are for more and more vaccines to be mandated for all of us, especially those in the health care field. Most of all, the pharma-controlled medical profession will tolerate no one–doctors, nurses, patients–who won’t comply.

Here is what Suzanne Humphries had to say about the vaccine promotion conference at NYU:

Suzanne: “It’s just more social engineering, brainwashing of medical students. … It was intended to help medical students. Never look at what we’re saying, never think they have a reason to look at what we’re saying, and how to talk to their patients.

“Paul Offit had some recommendations for the medical students which was to be passionate and go down swinging.”

Suzanne acknowledged that Dorit Reiss allowed her to come into the meeting, even though “she has made a very valiant attempt at destroying my reputation. She didn’t mind having me in the meeting.”

“My intention going in was simply, as I tell all of my audiences that they should read wisely on both sides and understand both sides, I do the same. So I’m interested in what they’re thinking to see if there is any logic or compassion or rationale in what they’re doing. I sat there and took notes…

“There were essentially three speakers. Dr. Pan was first. They introduced him as a hero and there couldn’t have been more hero worship….

“Dr. Offit spoke next, and Dorit spoke last. …

“There was a lot of joking and putting down of the anti-vaccine [movement], and the audience was laughing. So the audience, I believe, mostly was made up of  medical students. The medical students were addressed over and over again….The object was to tell them the story in as short and summarized as possible, leaving out what I would consider the pertinent details.

“There was Dr. Pan who started with a iron lung picture…. David Oshinsky was in there today. I actually found some value in his book, but of course he did what a lot of other people do, which is they tell a really good story and they rubbish Andrew Wakefield. …

“That’s what Dr. Pan did. He basically gave a summary, he started out with the iron lung, then he rubbished Andy. Nobody tells the story accurately. …

“Then we were told about the Philadelphia measles outbreak and the nine deaths, and how Andy ‘faked’ the data, and that allowed all this horrible stuff to happen all over Europe, the UK, and the United States because of his ‘faked’ data. …

“There was also a comment about Dr. Wakefield, that he could have shown the measles virus in the intestine, he could have shown the proteins, and he never did, which we know is not true. That was Dr. Offit that said that.

“Then it was a Bob Sears brutality fest, because he of course is the poster child for deviating from the blessed vaccine schedule. So everybody took some potshots at Dr. Sears. It seems to me like it was now very obvious to me that this was a concerted effort that has been long premeditated in getting him wiped off the board. …

“We heard a lot about the measles epidemic in California. …That’s the poster for why we need to prevent any further outbreaks, because, look, we had it happen, we can’t afford to let this happen, this is what happens when vaccination rates go down.

“Laughably, Richard Pan talked about the pertussis outbreak in 2010, and he linked that to non-medical exemptions, which if anyone has listened to my talk that I did in Phoenix very recently, he doesn’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to defending that vaccine. That vaccine doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter how many people get it. It works for a short period of time, at best. Everybody is eventually going to get pertussis. And we’ve got mutated strains that are specific to vaccinated populations, because like antibiotics, this vaccine does that….

“They said we need to tighten the exemptions. And then there was this interesting statement about, ‘what we saw in California was a very small demonstration compared to Dr. Pan when some of the other demonstration he’s had where there’s been ten to twenty thousand people, he thinks that we were lucky just to have a few thousand.’ He said, ‘What we have usually is a bunch of parents against vaccines debating a bunch of educated doctors who are for vaccines. And how can anybody take the side of the parents when you have these doctors that are educated and for vaccines?’

“And I’m sitting there, ‘Well, because nobody will give me a mainstream camera, that’s why. And there are lots of me’s out there. There are lots of doctors that actually have never spoken to their colleagues, who are against vaccines, who aren’t vaccinating their own children, and who have read and understand the risks and the potential benefits.

Suzanne said attendees were told that Mexico had such a high vaccination rate and that’s why they had so few cases as a result of the California outbreak.

Suzanne cautioned listeners.

“Don’t give them too much credit. What this was  was a little meeting…and the goal was to get them to see the absurdity in what the anti-vaccine movement is about, to see that we have been misguided for 200 years, and to make them never look at us, never want to even know what we have to say. That’s the goal of this meeting today.

“At one point Paul Offit asked the audience members how many people—he put a slide up of the Vaxxed [bus] and of course told everybody and made fun of the bus being out here. … ‘The crazy anti-vaxxers are there, they have not a leg to stand on, they’re delusional, and our real problem is that vaccines don’t prevent autism. So that when the child just gets autism, we’re going to blame the vaccines’—because—he said that, that’s his new one liner joke—vaccines don’t prevent autism. …

“So at one point, he asked the audience, how many people have heard of the movie. I would say maybe fifteen people raised their hands out of perhaps eighty. And then he asked how many have seen, and not one person in the audience raised their hands.

“And he said, ‘This is what always happens. Nobody watches this, nobody listens to them.’ And he went to give a summary of what Vaxxed was about and what happened with Thompson, and it was such a distorted and Cliffnoted summary, that it didn’t even give anyone in the audience anything to hold on to to go looking…

“It was really a brainwashing session for doctors. That’s really all it amounted to as far as I’m concerned. It’s part of social engineering that’s been going on since the 1920’s. This kind of the modern day version of it.

“Dr Pan said that …there were death threats to Senator Allen, that Del Bigtree tells people to use their guns—now, that the legislators are afraid, there’s harassment, and there’s stalking, especially of people of color.

“Now I would like to say something because there is—there are crazy people on both sides—…Please, no threats to anybody.  I’m asking you this. …

“I’m not saying that they were outright lying. I think they mostly lied by omission, and they did a lot of putting down of the opposition, and the audience was laughing and joining right along with it.

“They said that there was a lot of hype and extremism on our part,… They said that the legislators are intimidated. Dr. Pan said he had a talk with the legislators in California, and what he told them was that they can vote however they want, but if they vote against SB277 and there’s an outbreak of any disease that could have been prevented by a vaccine, that he’s going to call them out, he will make their name public as voting against it—and then he showed a slide of everyone who voted against it—…so after he talked about the intimidation, he basically told us that he intimidated the legislators. That’s how it looked to me….

“At [Dr. Pan’s] very last closing statement, he showed the cover of TIME Magazine, and he said, ‘TIME Magazine called me a hero, so now my mother is finally impressed….

“Dr. Offit’s talk was called, ‘Vaccine Wars, who’s winning?’ He started with small pox, … and how it eradicated the disease from the face of the earth. He talked about the history of the pro-vaccine… 1982 Vaccine Roulette. It made everybody afraid of the DTP. There was a flood of lawsuits.

“And he said what they realized twenty-five years later, …back at the time of this DTP vaccine, that there were a flood of lawsuits using the whole cell vaccine.

“He said, ‘We were a little slow to react to this. Twenty-five years later we realized that those children who had their reactions, had something called Dravet’s Syndrome, and it wasn’t vaccine related. …

“So I wonder if they’re testing today before they give the shot to see if anybody has this terrible genetic disorder.

“He said that thankfully, because the poor vaccine companies were being very reluctant to make vaccines, and they were going out of business, that the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act stopped ‘the bleeding.’

“Another notable comment was that the HPV vaccine ‘prevents against death more than any other vaccine, except maybe the flu’—and [Offit] got very impassioned when he was talking…very impassioned talking about ‘How could anybody not want to give a vaccine that is going to prevent these cases of cancer into the future. It’s absolutely absurd, and of all the things to complain about, this HPV vaccine should be supported because it’s an anti-cancer vaccine.’…

“Paul Offit is always judging other people as mentally unwell. He said that Dr. Thompson had a mental disorder….I think some people can actually believe their own dogmas so deeply that they think they’re telling the truth, and after watching him for a few years, I think that’s the category he falls into. …

“There was a lot of information tossed out there about how much money the anti-vaccine—how sophisticated we are, how we’re gaining, how we’re selling products— Which of course I’m having to sit there laughing…personally I’ve done nothing but loss as a result of doing this. He’s done nothing about gain as a result of doing this. …

“Everybody attacked Andy’s paper. …He never looked at the measles protein in the bowel, even though he could. And of course I’m sitting there meditating and saying, ‘But Dr. Stephen Walker looked at it at Lake Forest University and found the exact amino acids sequences.’…

“And this was the famous quote then: ‘MMR doesn’t prevent autism,’ [and] the whole audience just erupted at that one

“He said that the autism connection with the MMR is ‘a fruitless dead-end hypothesis.’

“Then there was another elevation of Dr. Pan, and Brian Deer—He showed a picture of Dr. Pan, he showed a picture of Brian Deer, thanked him, said that Alison Singer is also another hero, and then went on about Dr. Wakefield’s eight children’s report with the retracted study.

“I’m pretty sure it was twelve. It was a case series of twelve. I think he hasn’t read Dr. Wakefield’s paper, and I think he hasn’t seen the movie Vaxxed, and he really ought to start there.

“They did show a slide of your movie, so at least the medical students now know there’s a movie that they’re not supposed to see.

“They were told that’s it’s so laughable, such a joke, and everybody out here is a total clown. …

Next the conference moved to dealing with resistant parents.

“They got into this whole thing about a third of parents have questions; it’s natural to have questions, and that the questions need to be addressed. I thought it was kind of amusing because at one point— then there was the panel discussion, …I think it was the infectious disease guy from NYU said, ‘Vaccine hesitancy is the bane of existence of pediatricians’—his exact words. He said, ‘The reason is because pediatricians have fifteen minutes to deal with each patient, and that it takes approximately nineteen minutes to deal with a parent who has questions about vaccines.’

“So parents continue to ask your questions because we need to let these pediatricians know that they are unable to come up with the answers.”

Suzanne then advised parents to watch a YouTube with Dr. Eggertsen, a doctor from Washington State.

A non-vaccinating mother of a patient woke Eggertsen up to the truth about vaccine side effects because she knew what she was talking about.

Suzanne said, “She stood her ground, knew her information. There was enough question in his head, and this mother had enough validity in what she was saying that he went and researched it thoroughly. [He] did a presentation and publicly apologized to Dr. Andrew Wakefield for saying that he was a fraud.

“So parents, you do have an impact. Don’t underestimate the impact you have on pediatricians, either by frustrating them with your questions, or by getting them to think. Ask them questions.

“You know one of the things that got me thinking was a very simple question. A parent said to me, ‘What do you know about tetanus?’

“My response was, ‘I know you don’t want to get it, and I know you get lockjaw.’

“That was all I knew about tetanus, and I thought to myself, I need to hit the books about tetanus. And what I found there was completely counter to the osmotic indoctrination I got as a medical doctor.

“Then there was this Dr. Caplan. …He talked about the flu mandates at NYU. He said that people are going in and out of hospitals, it’s not just about protecting patients by vaccinating health care workers. Doctors should all be vaccinated, and hopefully anyone who goes in and out of a hospital should be vaccinated. He said to the doctors in the audience that ‘we must be good role models.’ …

“He also talked about pregnancy is a time of vulnerability, and that those women also need to be vaccinated.”

At this point Polly Tommey asked if anyone questioned anything that was being said, and Suzanne said no.  “It was a love fest. Everyone who had a question in the audience first did the flattery, and then it wasn’t really a question. It was more like, ‘Look how much I know, and can I help you, can you help me? Can we get together?’

One nurse asked the panel what they should do about nurses who go on social media and criticize vaccines. ‘We need to shut them down. Is there a way that we can shut them down? Can we write up a policy to get them de-registered?’

The head of infectious disease said that he’d be happy to work on such a policy. Offit used this as an opportunity to slam Dr. Bob Sears and his alternative vaccine schedule.  Offit was quoted saying, ‘The schedule he has has never been tested and never been proven.’

“Of course I’m sitting there thinking, none of the schedule has ever been tested or proven, but Dr. Sears’s schedule apparently is even more untested than the general one. He should not be able to have that FAAP after his name, and that there needs to be something done about any physician who criticizes or questions vaccines or changes the policy in their own office, that they shouldn’t be able to be a member of that club anymore.

“There was targeting providers, how to talk to them. They love to use anecdotal cases. See we can’t do that because for us, we’re just using anecdote. Paul Offit has his story of when he was a kid with club foot, being in the polio ward…

“If they’ve seen one case of deadly chicken pox, that’s enough to vaccinate everyone on the planet because their anecdotal case means more than all the other bigger picture….”

“They had no qualms commenting on people…

“We were told that three percent of parents don’t want any vaccines at all, that some parents are afraid of one or two vaccines, and that most parents have questions in general. …The advice was, don’t compromise with an alternative vaccine schedule. There is only one valid vaccine schedule, and it is not up for conversation because the other vaccine schedules have not been tested.

“The advice was to tell your patient, ‘These are the vaccines that are going to be given today.’ And they said not to say, ‘We might want to give this. You should think about this.’

“They said, ‘Be uncompromising. These are the vaccines that are going to be given today.’

“They said the doctor should use personalized stories, and to tell them that you vaccinate your own kids. …Tell horror stories to your patients. …  Please don’t fall for the horror stories. It’s part of the game.

“Then there was the topic of dismissal of parents from the office, and we know that Paul Offit is in favor of that. But all the other doctors said that’s really not the way to go. …

“Dr. Allen, …he said, ‘Thank God for Disneyland. …

Suzanne talked about how the whole measles/Disneyland  happening was really part of a bigger plan.  “It was certainly a golden opportunity. Merck stock soared…and they’re using this in every talk they give to medical students, medical personnel,…the disaster that almost happened. …But it cost too much money and we need to vaccinate people and keep these vaccination rates up high.

Suzanne pointed out a conversation she had with Jonathan Landsman in 2015  called,  Paul Offit’s vaccine lies deconstructed: A mind-blowing interview with Dr. Suzanne Humphries, where they discussed the whole Disneyland/measles outbreak.
 http://www.naturalnews.com/049320_Suzanne_Humphries_Paul_Offit_vaccine_lies.html

“Dr. Caplan wants dentists to start talking to their patients. He wants other providers to be vaccinating, not just medical doctors because he said most people see a dentist more than they see a regular doctor. …

“Dr. Pan said parents are being made anxious by the anti-vaccine [movement]. He said that we are a well-funded opposition who spent ‘an entire one half million dollars on SB277.

“Dr. Offit asked where the money came from. Dr. Pan said, ‘Well, they don’t have to report where it comes from.’ …

“The anti-vaccine people have personal and financial interests, and we have products to sell. …

“The new President was discussed…. Dorit [Reiss] really spoke to this one, and she said that he could appoint the CDC director, and that CDC director could refuse to expand the vaccine schedule into the future. …They seem all very calm about Donald Trump being the President-elect….”

Suzanne said they next turned to “herd immunity,” a term which has fallen out of favor because “people feel like sheep.” The new term is “community immunity.”  Pan is now calling for 94 percent vaccination rates to attain “community immunity.”  She added that recently another expert said that the rate had to be at 99 percent.

Suzanne continued. “They said that ‘just the legitimization of the anti-vaccine cause is dangerous.’ They were counseling the pediatricians not even to legitimize the cause. …They need to speak out against anyone who gives information, and that they need to counter the misinformation….”

Suzanne said that Pan made the claim that the goal of SB277 was to restore community immunity.

Suzanne added that Pan kept saying, ‘We have the right to be free of deadly diseases.’

“…They just talk about, ‘We have this cancer vaccine, and why wouldn’t anyone want to use this cancer vaccine to save these boys and girls from getting cancer?’

“…[Offit] gave his advice to the medical students: ‘Be passionate. Go down swinging. He said to say them, Let me love your child. The world is becoming progressively more dangerous, let me love your child.’

“He said pediatricians are cultivated to be compassion and listen to all points of view, but they shouldn’t do that in this particular situation.”

Suzanne reviewed some of her notes:

“So this is the statement that the RN made, and that Dr. Adams agreed with, that they want to be able to say that we will drop you from the Academy if you speak out against vaccines. So if you’re a nurse, if you’re a nurse practitioner, if you’re a medical doctor, you’re a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, they will strike you out. So that you can’t published a book like Dr. Sears and put MD, FAAP…

“They want doctors to know someone is watching, so I believe that’s really what’s behind Dr. Sears. These are all kind of like little precedent cases. Since Dr. Sears is now being sued for writing a medical exemption and not documenting everything the way they think it should have been documented—Doctors are looking at that and they’re saying, ‘I better really beef up my documentation, I better be much more careful, and maybe I don’t want to give out medical exemptions that I otherwise would have.’

“That’s absolutely part of why this was done to him. So we have to get behind him, and we have to help him counter the lawsuit.”

Suzanne added a story about how Offit schools medical students about vaccines.

“Apparently Dr. Offit goes into medical schools, and he does role playing where he’s the doctor, and he has the doctors pretend to be the parents. He puts them on the spot, so someone’s on the hot seat, and this is what you say as a doctor. They feel that this is incredibly valuable, that they are learning really valuable skills in how to talk to parents, and how the parents might feel being spoken to.

A former med student of Offit’s was there and she praised him for doing this when she was a student.

Suzanne felt that attending the conference was worthwhile and informative.

“We knew they’re scheming, we know they’re plotting, we know they’re trying to keep the focus off of the work that we’re doing.

“It was more social engineering specifically designed to medical students, and what I suspect is that somebody will continue this …and then they’ll measure the effect among the medical students as the four years go on and then in the medical doctors to see if any anti-vaccination sentiment …or even compassion toward the anti-vaccine goes down. Because that’s what they’re looking for—they’re looking them to be really rigid, fighting to get vaccines into all these kids whenever possible.”

Suzanne summarized the purpose of the conference:
“It’s really just all about taking the spotlight off of us, which is why it’s so important that parents come out in numbers, that they speak and carry on the message,…”

Would anyone have talked about Vaxxed if the bus hadn’t been there?

2 Comments on Thank God For Disneyland [Measles Outbreak] Says “Health” Speaker at NYU Vaccine Event

  1. I attempted to see the “Confronting Vaccine Resistance” lecture done by Dr. Paul Offit and Sen. Richard Pan on November 21, 2016. I was unable to find it on you tube. Have you tried to locate the video? I’m assuming that it was taped, as most lectures are. I am also assuming that there is a slide show presentation that was utilized. If you can obtain either the slide show or a videotape of this event, can you send it to me? or post it on The Liberty Beacon?

  2. Such horseshit. The Disneyland incident was caused by a woman who had recently taken the measles vaccine. It wasn’t wild measles at all, it was vaccine induced measles. Lost the narrative again asshats. The Liberty Beacon is telling the truth here, but the NYU speakers and Offit are telling nothing but lies, and further are threatening people who don’t want to carry out their fricking agenda. Threatening Doctors, threatening Nurses, threatening parents/patients. Sounds real Nazi 2.0 to me when you have to threaten people to carry out your eugenics and depopulation agenda.
