Trump Says ‘Green New Deal’ Like School Paper, AOC Fires Back
By: Steve Straub
Two nights ago, at his rally near the border in El Paso Texas President Trump likened Democrat’s “Green New Deal” to a poorly written high school paper, as the Washington Free Beacon reports:
“Too many Democrats are focused on tearing down their opposition instead of building up our country,” Trump told the El Paso, Texas crowd. “They are trying to impose some of the most extreme measures and policies ever put forward by our Congress … I don’t think anybody in this room wants to pay 70, 80, 90, and 95 percent tax.”
He went on to specifically target the Green New Deal resolution, a 14-page economic stimulus plan released last Thursday by self-described democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) and Sen. Ed Markey (D., Mass.) that aims to fight income inequality and climate change.
The crowd booed when he mentioned the proposal and then cheered when he said, “It sounds like a high school term paper that got a low mark.”
Shortly thereafter our favorite Socialist superstar and Democrat party “it” girl Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to the President in her normal, arrogant and clueless way.
She wrote: “Ah yes, a man who can’t even read briefings written in full sentences is providing literary criticism of a House Resolution. (“Reading the intelligence book is not Trump’s preferred ‘style of learning,’ according to a person with knowledge of the situation.””

OK then. Trump is President of the United States and Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is just a first and likely last term Representative. Even the Democrat House leadership is distancing themselves from her, and her lunatic ideas, as fast as they can.
In a tweet President Trump mocked AOC’s “Green New Deal” and dared Democrats to vote on it.
He wrote “I think it is very important for the Democrats to press forward with their Green New Deal. It would be great for the so-called “Carbon Footprint” to permanently eliminate all Planes, Cars, Cows, Oil, Gas & the Military – even if no other country would do the same. Brilliant!”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the gift that keeps on giving…for Republicans.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
