Congresswoman utilizes Facebook to warn illegals of ICE raids

Preface by TLB Staff

In the story below, Congressional Representative for Massachusetts, Michelle DuBois takes to Social Media and exposes government intelligence to illegal immigrants about upcoming (Ice) raids.

Not only is she putting law enforcement agents lives at risk, is she not in violation of her oath of office“I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Is Representative DuBois not in violation of  Title 5, Section 3331 of the United States Code? (TLB)

Congresswoman utilizes Facebook to warn illegals of ICE raids

BY DEAN DANIELS

On Tuesday, Massachusetts state Rep. Michelle DuBois used her Facebook page to give a heads-up to illegal aliens about scheduled Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.

In her posts, DuBois [pictured left] lists and pinpoints rumored addresses where raids are expected to take place. She also provides phone numbers to legal representatives in areas where raids are occurring.

In addition, DuBois provides an information graphic on what illegal immigrants should do if “ICE comes to [the] door.”

The 10th district representative claims:

“If you are undocumented, don’t go out on the street. If there is a knock on the door of your house and you don’t know who it is, don’t open the door. I ask you to be careful.”

As a result of her actions, DuBois’s Facebook page comment sections have been riddled with criticisms and rebuke. One particular critic is Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, who tweeted that her actions are “completely [undermining] law enforcement.”

“It completely undermines law enforcement,” Sheriff tells House Subcommittee about Brockton politician who tipped illegals off to ICE raid.

Below is a reply DuBois wrote to Facebook critics regarding her decision to give advance warning to illegals facing deportation:

“I am deleting attacks [on the original posts]. This post is to inform. Not debate immigration policy. It’s my page and I can delete posts… This post is just to spread awareness of the seriousness of the new immigration policies instituted by Trump. It should motivate those who can gain documentation to do so and others who can’t to start making a plan for the safety of their family.”
