COVID-19: When the ‘Cure’ is Much Worse than the ‘Disease’…

By TLB Staff Writer: Dan Asmussen

I said back in early March that the ‘cure’ would be much worse than the ‘disease’…

“The consequences of the stupidity of shutting down will cause more suffering and death than can ever be calculated.”

The UN is now estimating 130 million more people will suffer from starvation this year because of the economic shut down across the world.

U.N. Warns of ‘Hunger Pandemic’ Amid Threats of Coronavirus, Economic Downturn

An additional 130 million people could be on the brink of starvation by the end of 2020 as a result of the outbreak and its economic ramifications.

Suicide hotlines are reporting call volumes up nearly 900% during this lock down. 1.4 million people in the US attempted suicide and 47,000 were successful in 2019.

Calls to US helpline jump 891%, as White House is warned of mental health crisis

Some federal officials worry the U.S. isn’t prepared to meet nation’s needs.

Tens of millions in the US are now unemployed. There are an infinite number of studies of all of the psychological and health issues and ultimate increase in death rates associated with unemployment and poverty.

Now that antibody testing is more prevalent, they are showing a lot more people have had COVID-19 than previously thought and could mean the mortality rate is actually closer .1 to .2%, not the 2% originally thought.

Antibody test study results suggest COVID-19 cases likely much higher than reported

The testing is a joint venture by USC and Los Angeles County.

The CDC even admits that if someone dies of something else but they were suspected of having COVID-19 then they report the cause of death as COVID-19. NY Times admits NYC alone 3700 people to that death toll because they thought the victims might have had it but were never actually tested for it.

N.Y.C. Death Toll Soars Past 10,000 in Revised Virus Count

The city has added more than 3,700 additional people who were presumed to have died of the coronavirus but had never tested positive.

Change to death certificates could boost COVID-19 counts

An alert issued Thursday instructs those who fill out death certificates to categorize pneumonia deaths that can’t be traced to another underlying condition as presumptively COVID-19.

As of now, withstanding the padded numbers, the official death toll is 46,000 in the US and 180,000 world wide.

While this is tragic, to put in perspective 1.6 million people a year die from diarrhea. As a side note this will also increase as the economic shut down will lead to more unsanitary conditions for water and food.

Some more numbers, if the mortality rate is .2%, and every single person on the planet (7.5 billion) got infected with COVID-19, that means 15 million people would die. Now if we times that number by almost 9 you get the number of people who are going to be facing starvation according to the UN because of the economic shut down and that number will continue to grow as the economic shut down continues. This does not even take into the account the increased suicide rates, and other health issues associated with increased poverty.

So at this point no matter what your opinion is and no matter how ingrained your normalcy bias is, the numbers show that “staying home and saving lives” IS NOT TRUE.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
