On August 30th TLB featured a story about the Herb Kratom and how it has been used to stave off fatigue and to manage pain, diarrhea, cough, and opioid withdrawal.
U.S. Federal Government agencies (DEA & FDA) are pushing to make Kratom a Schedule 1 Drug. That’s right, make a Natural Herb illegal by calling it a Drug, despite the fact that it has been beneficial to Veterans and many other groups of people with medical issues. In our article we made the observation that once again, the Fed was “carrying the water” for Big Pharma in stomping out ‘Natural’ products.
Included in our afore mentioned story was a link , via a petition, to Washington D.C. to voice your opposition to the FDA/DEA and Big Pharma wanting to take away another Freedom of Choice! We again include that link at the bottom of this post. Only 36,660 signatures by September 29, 2016 to get a response from the White House is needed as of this writing. We have closed the gap from 200,000 needed.
