Deaths of Five Children Not Related to Encephalitis Vaccine, Say Doctors

Preface by TLB Staff Writer: Christopher Wyatt

When people are crippled or killed because of vaccines it is of course never the vaccine! As the world continues to become sicker and more disabled because of vaccines WE THE PEOPLE who are in the know about the damaging impact of vaccines have a duty to warn others.

Too many people are dying because of  “life saving” vaccines and it is time for the anti vaccine movement wake up and become the resistance. I am begging everyone to stop pretending that “vaccine choice” is anything other than promoting eugenics in a format that is palatable to the masses. Vaccine refusal even if it means breaking the law has to become something that we embrace and encourage.

It will NOT be the government that ends the vaccine lie–it will be every man, woman, and child who stands up, fights back and says never again!

The deaths of five children after they received Japanese encephalitis vaccine shots were due to pre-existing diseases, not because of the antiserum, health officials said.

Dr Htar Htar Lin, manager of the Expanded Program on Immunization, said the deaths of the children were coincidental with the nationwide vaccination program implemented by the government in November.

“After the post mortem of the children, it was found that the vaccine did not cause the deaths,” she said on Sunday.

The children who died came from Pinlaung township in Shan State, Tharbaung and Pathein townships in Ayeyarwady Region, Chanmyae Tharsi township in Mandalay Region and Myoethit township in Magwe Region.

Dr Stephan Paul Jost, country representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Myanmar, said that the deaths of the children were not related to the vaccine.

WHO, along with the Health and Sports Ministry and several independent experts, conducted a thorough examination of all five cases, according to Jost.

“The [children who died] already had some diseases present beforehand that were serious,” he said.

“The fact that it happened after the vaccination did not mean it was caused by the vaccine,” he added. “That’s the key thing to remember. To be sure of that, you’d need to investigate every case like this.”

The ministry said a total of 8.3 million school children have been vaccinated out of the 8.6 million children, aged between 5 and 15 years it hoped to immunise.

Dr Thar Tun Kyaw, director general of the Department of Public Health, told reporters on Sunday that they were fully prepared to conduct systematic vaccination and their teams include child specialists who monitor the health of children after they receive their encephalitis shots.

The school-based vaccination program had been implemented from November 15 to 23. The ministry was preparing to conduct a nationwide community-based vaccination programme for children nine months old to five years old from December 11 to 20.

The community-based immunisation program aims to vaccinate more than five million children to protect them against the disease.

Japanese encephalitis is a mosquito-borne disease that can cause serious neurological damage or physical disability, and infection can lead to death if proper treatment is not given.

Children who are suffering from tuberculosis, or have low immune system or taking antibiotics, could not be administered with the vaccine.
