Fauci Awards EcoHealth Another $650K to Study Bat Coronaviruses

Fauci has Awarded Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Another $650,000 to Study Bat Coronaviruses

The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded Peter Daszak, President of EcoHealth Alliance, a nonprofit long involved in gain-of-function research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, another $650,000 to conduct experiments on coronaviruses in bats and “assess their ability to infect humans.”

The grant would appear to be a serious slap in the face to all those who’ve questioned the pandemic’s origins, the government’s response to it, been affected by Covid, or, well, just about everyone else on the planet who hasn’t completely shut off their brain out of sycophancy to arbitrary and abusive authority. Indeed, for those like myself who’ve long been skeptical of the Covid “lab leak theory,” what’s especially galling is the contradictory messaging that’s come from the highest levels of the federal government.

On the one hand, several of the highest-ranking federal officials including the former Director of National Intelligence and the former Secretary of State have long stated as fact-certain that the virus came from the Wuhan lab.

This belief is not limited to the national security community. Former CDC Director Robert Redfield, current CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, the New York Times, the President of the United States, and even WHO Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus have also disclosed concerns that the virus may have emerged from the Wuhan lab. Yes, you read that right. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

And yet, despite every one of our highest-level officials publicly sharing their concern over the possible lab origin of this virus which, they say, has killed countless millions of people all over the world and justified a state of emergency going on three years, our government just granted the man whose research may have led to the emergence of that virus another $650,000 to conduct more of that research.

Though perhaps this isn’t quite as surprising as it sounds, because despite their public statements about Covid killing countless millions of people, for purposes of their own vacation plans and diplomatic relations with China, our highest-level officials have long shown conspicuously little concern about the virus. Even by 2021 it was hard to find any scientists and politicians who hadn’t been caught breaking their own Covid rules.

In truth, the longtime endorsement of the lab leak theory by all our highest level federal officials is one of the most important reasons to be skeptical of that theory. For political reasons, the lab leak theory is often presented as a grassroots, populist movement against a big government coverup, and the evidence in support of it is generally fed to the public through independent researchers like DRASTIC and Alina Chan. But the widespread perception of the lab leak theory as a grassroots, populist movement is a vast misconception of the politics surrounding Covid’s origin.

Because the lab leak theory has been endorsed by the highest-level members of the Western national security community, the truth is that the entire intelligence community has spent billions of dollars and untold amounts of manpower in proving Covid came from the Wuhan lab.

Few questions in history have received so much funding with so little to show for it. It’s therefore difficult to believe that grassroots researchers have uncovered any evidence the Western intelligence community has not. In fact, in one humorous exchange, high-level members of the national security community actually invited Alina Chan for a conference on Covid’s origin, seemingly expecting that she might have some information they didn’t already know—they were disappointed when she did not.

This stands in sharp contrast to true grassroots movements such as anti-lockdown activism and the subject of the Chinese Communist Party’s influence on the response to Covid. Though most of the public believes that if the CCP had influenced the response to Covid, then intelligence officials would say so, the truth is that high-level national security officials staked far too much of their reputations on the authoritarian response to Covid to let their subordinates investigate CCP influence into that response.

Grassroots research like my own has been fruitful precisely because the subject of CCP influence on the response to Covid is such a taboo subject within the Western intelligence community. FBI and CIA officials risk their careers and livelihoods for even so much as mentioning the possibility of communist influence on policies and events like lockdowns, forced masking, vaccine passes, or Event 201.

Another example of a grassroots movement with regard to the origins of Covid is the subject of early global spread in the months before Wuhan in December 2019. Because so many high-level Western officials staked their reputations on copying China’s response to Covid, scientists like Elisabetta Tanzi and her team in Italy face censorship and insults from high-level officials and scientists for even so much as testing for samples of Covid in Europe in fall 2019 and earlier.

But regardless of Covid’s actual origins, one thing that’s certain is that our government needs to get its story straight. Federal officials can’t keep telling the public the virus came from a lab and killed millions of people while acting like nothing’s wrong for purposes of their vacation plans, research funding, and relations with China. They want to have their cake and eat it too, and the message this sends is that they don’t need an actual lab-made supervirus to establish a biomedical security state, they just need the proles to believe there might be a lab-made supervirus to get them to consent to it.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
