In a piece I found from an eye witness- Palestinian living in the United States who went there to see for himself what was really happening, the following was said:
“Tragic that nation born out of the unspeakable horrors of the Holocaust has become a nation that supports the slaughter of Palestinians.”

It makes me wonder: at what point does a war become so unbalanced that it becomes a one-sided massacre?
I always do my own research, never trusting mainstream media for my information. I learned that Gaza has no standing military of it’s own since it basically has no official statehood.
Every American taxpayer would know also that our government sends billions in aid and military technology to Israel annually.
Yes – perhaps Hamas, a complete creation of Israel, the US and the UK may have been the initial aggressors in the Israeli impetus for this recent invasion. However, at day 17, the death tolls tell the real story and should be stopped immediately.

“That price is being paid by suspects’ families – but under the 1949 Geneva Conventions, any form of collective punishment is considered a war crime. Article 53 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “Any destruction by the Occupying Power of real or personal property belonging individually or collectively to private persons … is prohibited, except where such destruction is rendered absolutely necessary by military operations.”
So can Israel justify the demolition of Palestinian homes for security reasons? Or does the policy constitute a war crime under the Geneva Convention?
I think anyone must agree that GAZA is an occupied area – so what’s the problem?
Where are the global masses demanding a stop to this bloodshed to punish and prove who’s the BIG MAN ON CAMPUS?
Israeli occupied, Israeli invasion of Gaza is a lot like sending a swat team into a cell block of prisoners with orders to kill all in the cell block for crimes of one or two prisoners – Is this the NEW social Justice of America? If So then God help us all!
I see many Christians in my country look to scripture for answers and siding with Israel because a passage says:
GENESIS 26:5 And I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Are we actually talking about a piece of real estate … Or about the genetic offspring of peoples scattered over the earth in the last days?
There are Christian civilians in Gaza being killed. There are also Jewish ones being killed.
Reports read last night claim that Gazans fleeing the attacks cannot even flee as other past natives of countries under siege have at least been able to do.
Why? Because their only choice has been to flee into Israeli enemy territory- flee into the sea or flee into Egypt. But Egypt has closed it’s borders to Palestinian refugees.
The Jews in NYC are at least protesting against this massacre of an occupied group of human beings:
8/24/14, San Francisco, CA: 40 Jewish survivors of the Nazi Holocaust and 287 descendants of survivors and victims issued a letter this weekend condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza. “As Jewish survivors and descendants of survivors and victims of the Nazi genocide, we unequivocally condemn the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza and the ongoing occupation and colonization of historic Palestine.” The letter, with signatories from 26 countries representing four generations of survivors and descendants, ran on page A13 of the Saturday, August 23rd edition of the New York Times.”
People often wonder how the largely Christian population of Nazi Germany during the extermination of millions, remained silent for so long?
Today the only difference here is that the US Christians champion it and the continued funding of the Israeli war machine through our tax dollars. I for one condemn the Israeli massacre of the occupied Gaza strip Palestinians.
I condemn the use of American tax dollars for the ongoing funding and arming of ruthless death squads called ISIS , the Israeli Army, Freedom Fighters or any other Zionist / US, UK, Israeli-created proxy groups perpetrating DEMOCIDE ACROSS OUR GLOBE in the name of God, Allah, God’s chosen People, The Resistance Freedom Fighter factions of our old enemy Al Qaida in Egypt or any other arm of Government Genocide!
To stand back, pretend to be humanitarian and justify mass murder is unconscionable, no matter your affiliation, political party or man-transcribed and translated GOOD BOOK, aka Religion. It is hypocrisy plain and simple in a country where the protections built into the constitution are not for the group based upon a consensus but to EACH INDIVIDUAL and, may I add, a human right given by God .
Condoning never-ending, government-funded bloodshed and COLLATERAL DAMAGE of innocents comes from a flawed heart and lack of compassion. If this is from any biblical God, it is from Satan the destroyer of man and not from the Creator of Life. This comes from a psychopathic, out of control blood-lust of a wholly out of control group of Senators and governors who do not represent me.
Over the past two months I have been posting against this murder and began receiving emails from practicing, purported Christians defending what is happening as ISRAEL DEFENDING ITSELF!
To me, this thinking is what led to the holocaust.
I have spent a lot of time recently researching the recent invasion of Gaza and the plight of this imprisoned group of people and in this pursuit of understanding, found a perfect youtube video which powerfully spoke to my heart from Noble Laureate Chris Hedges.
I urge everyone to share this and watch it. If you have one ounce of empathy left, you will be brought back into your humanity.
