How To Make Law Enforcement Our Friends And Allies (yes, it’s possible!): A Personal Talk With Sheriff Richard Mack
By TLB Contributor & Talk Show Host: Richard Sacks
Sheriff Richard Mack is now world famous and loved by those in the freedom movement for a reason. He made a decision, as a career law enforcement officer, to honor his oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the united States, and he acted on that decision.
Sheriff Mack is the founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (www.cspoa.org), which is helping to bring back the kind of law enforcement personnel that understand they are servants of the people of our country, and they are there to protect the God-given individual rights of all of us, in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the united States.
This in-depth and candid discussion with Sheriff Mack gives us an insight into his personal journey of discovery as he has worked to spread the understanding of what the oath of office to protect the Constitution really means, and what is required to do what it promises. With an abundance of inspiring historical examples and present day accounts of heroic sheriffs living up to their oaths, Sheriff Mack makes the concepts and honor, courage, honesty and real service to these and other ideals into real life imagines that we can all invite into our lives if we so choose.
America was intended to be a place of freedom from tyranny, where all of us could live as we chose to, as long as we did not trespass on the rights of others to do the same. Our country was certainly never meant to be a democracy, where a majority of people could vote to take away the rights or even the lives of the minority, under a system where “majority rules.” Democracy is always promoted by corrupt leaders, because they can use it as an easy justification for their agendas of tyranny, especially today when the voting results are easily falsified.
Conversely, in a Constitutional Republic, even the rights of a minority of one person can never be taken away, even in an “emergency,” and the rights of all people, which are given by God and not government, remain absolutely inviolable.
Meet Richard Mack, showing us what “to serve and protect” are really supposed to mean, and what the vision of an America returned to its original ideals could look like, as an example to the rest of the world, because people in every country all have the same desire to live their lives as they choose and to be free.
