ER Editor: More evidence of corruption within European Union structures. Here is the euractiv piece, linked to below —
EXCLUSIVE: Police raid EU External Action Service, College of Europe in sweeping fraud probe
A number of (we believe) white hat Twitter/X accounts have picked up this story —
At the request of the EPPO in Brussels 🇧🇪, searches were carried out today at the College of Europe and the EEAS in an investigation into fraud related to EU-funded training for junior diplomats. Three suspects were detained.

❗️Another day, another “shock” EU scandal. Belgian police raiding the EEAS and the College of Europe at dawn? Documents seized, arrests made, corruption and procurement fraud on the table.
The EU’s prestigious “finishing school” for Eurocrats now under investigation for insider…

We don’t believe Kaja Kallas is around anymore, but here is what is being reported, which shines a light on her —
Translation: In Brussels, one name dominates all conversations: Kaja Kallas. It’s no longer the “head of European diplomacy” we’re talking about today, but the woman under whom the EEAS has just been searched from top to bottom. At dawn, Belgian police raided the offices she oversees, seizing documents, servers, and – according to multiple sources – three people in handcuffs. Officially, it’s an investigation into budgetary irregularities. Unofficially: corruption, rigged purchases, shady financial flows around aid to Ukraine… and trails that lead all the way to Estonia, Kallas’s political stronghold. And that was just the beginning: the College of Europe in Bruges was hit in parallel, along with several private residences. Investigators are already calling it a case “as sprawling as the Qatargate.” Social media, on the other hand, says the opposite: “It’s worse.” We’re hearing about: • opaque circuits linking Brussels → Tallinn → Kyiv, • funds intended for Ukraine that allegedly “disappeared in transit,” • explosive tensions between Kallas and Belgium over the use of frozen Russian assets. The question is no longer: “What’s going on?” But: “How much did she know?” Because for a leader who took office waving the banner of “transparency” and “fighting Moscow,” the irony is brutal: it’s her own house that’s just been placed under seal.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
