Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche says he “never heard” President Trump tie Pam Bondi’s firing from the Justice Department to the files on late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

“I have never heard President Trump say anything that the attorney general was, that anything that happened to her had anything to do with the Epstein files,” Blanche said Thursday night on the Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime” show.

Earlier Thursday, Trump announced on Truth Social that Bondi would be “transitioning” out of her role as attorney general “to a much needed and important new job in the private sector.”

Blanche, who was serving as deputy attorney general, had been involved in the DOJ’s release of Epstein files. He said the DOJ has now released “all the files with respect to the Epstein saga.”

Bondi is set to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on April 14 for an ongoing investigation into Epstein’s crimes. California Rep. Robert Garcia, the committee’s top Democrat, said he still expects Bondi to comply with the panel’s subpoena, despite hesitation from Chairman GOP Rep. James Comer, Kentucky.

Blanche also on Thursday defended the DOJ’s handling of releasing the Epstein files.

“We have made every single congressman, senator available to come and see any document, redacted, unredacted, that they want,” Blanche said. “And so I think to the extent that the Epstein files was a part of the last year of this justice department, it should not be a part of anything going forward.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
