States Fighting for Trajectory of America’s Medical Freedom with Expansive Legislation

ER Editor: Here is TrialSite News on Senator Rand Paul’s bill S.3853 to end the vaccine liability shield for Pharma, mentioned in the article below —

Sen. Rand Paul Introduces Bill to End Vaccine Manufacturer Liability Shield — Long Odds Ahead

At its core, the proposed legislation seeks to dismantle the liability protections established under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, which created the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). Under current law, most claims alleging vaccine-related injury must proceed through this federal compensation system rather than traditional civil courts. Paul’s bill would effectively reopen the door to direct civil lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers.

NOW: States Fighting for Trajectory of America’s Medical Freedom with Expansive Legislation

700+ bills filed in just the first 2 months of 2026 show American momentum aligning along informed consent and MAHA-spirited causes

In just the first two months of 2026, over 700 vaccine-related bills have been filed in states across the nation.

In 2010, Dawn Richardson created the NVIC’s Advocacy Portal to track the mounting legislation at the state level and give the public a free option to get informed and take action in their community by contacted their representatives.

In a recent interview on The HighWireRichardson said of the expansive legislative efforts and NVIC’s view of them through the lens of their mission statement:

About 54% we support and about 40% we’re opposed to.

The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) was formed in 1982 with a mission to prevent vaccine injuries and deaths, to educate the public and advocate for informed consent.

At the federal level, HHS Secretary Kennedy and his agency heads are rapidly setting in regulatory stone a medical, societal and health architecture that terminates medical mandates, honors the doctor-patient relationship, prioritizes transparency and demands data on the root causes of chronic diseases with the hope of reversing them.

Over half of 2026 state-level legislation is also aligned with this new direction embodied in Kennedy’s tenure.

How should the public interpret this rapid onslaught of vaccine-related bills in 2026?

Some of the highlights and key subjects encompassed in the bills:

  • Expansion of parental consent
  • Expansion of exemptions for childhood vaccinations
  • Prohibiting vaccine-based discrimination by governments and employers
  • Categorizing mRNA products as weapons of mass destructions

Of course, there are also bills seeking to accomplish the opposite of the above themes, which is why state-level activation using NVIC’s Advocacy portal is vital at this time.

A high water mark can be seen in Senator Rand Paul’s recently filed federal bill which serves as a unification point for a divided America. His bill aims to amend the Public Health Service Act to end the liability shield for vaccine manufacturers – pure firewater from the Kentucky Senator.

In other words, Americans would be allowed to sue vaccine-makers for the injuries their products cause.

Perhaps the most unarguable, nonpolitical slam dunk position few American citizens would argue against. Finally removing the artificial liability shield vaccine makers have enjoyed and widely profited from for decades placing them in a category like every other company. Could they still make a profit without such special arrangements?

Call your reps. Flood the lines till the switchboards melt and sign up to testify against the bad bills in your state. This moment is bigger than MAHA, Trump and Kennedy. Signed bills at the state level outlast administrations and instantly transform the culture of the state. Change is happening now. It’s up to each one of us to decide its direction.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
