5G Comes to Paris? Ecologists ‘Shocked’ at Mayor Hidalgo’s Haste

ER Editor: This story ran on February 20, 2021. Globalist / ‘socialist’ Paris mayor, Anne Hidago, it should be noted, is – on behalf of her city – a member of the C40 global cities network. This to us seems to be an alternative governance structure to the nation state, pushing out globalist, Agenda 21 projects such as ‘sustainable’ living, climate change, 5G rollout, stack’n pack Smart apartment living, etc. on very large population segments. Here is a list of those cities, with Paris occupying a prominent role.

Now, probably genuinely-motivated ecologists are wondering why their mayor is pushing out health-threatening, untested military technologies ahead of schedule like 5G. They need to wake up fast.

5G arrives in Paris, Ecologists “shocked” by Hidalgo’s “forcing”

“Nothing justified going so fast,” regretted the Parisian Greens who, like the Citizen’s Climate Convention, had called for a moratorium.

HUFFINGTON POST FRANCE

The Parisian Greens, partners of the Parti-Socialiste mayor Anne Hidalgo, regretted this Friday evening, February 19, the agreement reached between the Parisian executive and telecom operators for the deployment of 5G in the capital in the coming weeks, saying that “nothing justifies going so fast”.

“The Citizen’s Convention for the Climate had rightly asked for a moratorium, we were also asking for it. In addition, we are awaiting the results of the studies commissioned by the government on this issue within the next few weeks,” reacted the deputy in charge of the transformation of public space and transportation David Belliard, who was asked by AFP.

Fatoumana Koné, president of the ecologist group in the city council, said she was “surprised, even a little shocked” by the “forcing” of the socialist mayor and her deputy budget minister Paul Simondon, who finalized the agreement. “A letter was sent again a short time ago asking for the moratorium,” she said.

“There was a consultation in progress”

The elected ecologist does not understand why the signing of the agreement was “so urgent: there was a consultation in progress in which the Parisians had taken part and without even waiting for the end of this consultation, we learn that this charter is signed”.

Following the citizens’ conference organized by the city at the end of December, a new cell phone charter, supposed to give Parisian citizens “better information” on the impacts of 5G, will be submitted to the Paris council in March, the city announced in a press release.

Other municipalities such as Lille have already announced that they are in favor of a moratorium until the publication of a report by the National Health Security Agency (Anses), scheduled for spring 2021. “It’s a real shame to bend like that in front of the operators,” added Ms. Koné.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
