Al Gore Compares ‘Climate Skeptics’ with Uvalde Police Officers in Texas

Let Schoolchildren Get Massacred

Becker News

Climate change charlatan Al Gore is back from irrelevancy to try to make climate change relevant to the daily lives of Americans. In a Sunday airing of NBC’s Meet the Press, Gore clumsily tried to guilt trip climate skeptics into vicarious blame for the Uvalde mass shooting.

Gore told NBC’s Chuck Todd that “climate deniers” are like the law enforcement officers who waited “outside an unlocked door while the children were being massacred” at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

On Meet the Press, Chuck Todd asked Gore what he believed could overcome the challenge of “political will.”

“It’s not just in this country; China and India are emerging powers that are reliant on fossil fuels, Europe is backsliding with the decision on methane,” said Todd. “If the United States can’t be a global leader here, who will?” Todd asked.

“Well, the United States must step up and provide leadership. And of course, President Biden’s been trying to do that. And he has a 50-50 Senate, really a 49-51 Senate on everything related to the climate, and a razor-thin majority in the House,” Gore replied.

Al Gore, once again revealing he is not a scientist, but a politician, echoed Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s comments on the Supreme Court in the wake of its decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

“You know, Abraham Lincoln once said, ‘With public sentiment, everything is possible. Without it, nothing can succeed.’ The rest of us need to step up,” he said. “And we’ve got an election coming up. And this is time for all of us to step up.”

Gore then compared those who rightfully question the ‘manmade climate change’ narrative with Uvalde police officers who allowed children to get slaughtered by a mass shooter.

“You know, the climate deniers are really in some ways similar to all of those almost 400 law enforcement officers in Uvalde, Texas, who were waiting outside an unlocked door while the children were being massacred,” he said. “They heard the screams, they heard the gunshots, and nobody stepped forward.”

Gore then made sure to add an offhand remark to blunt the insult to police officers and grieving families.

“And God bless those families who’ve suffered so much. And law enforcement officials tell us that’s not typical of what law enforcement usually does,” he quickly added.

“And confronted with this global emergency, what we’re doing with our inaction and failing to walk through the door and stop the killing is not typical of what we are capable of as human beings,” he went on. “We do have the solutions. And I think these extreme events that are getting steadily worse and more severe are really beginning to change minds.”

One way to ‘change minds,’ is to tell the ‘inconvenient truth,’ and not repeat baseless lies.

Al Gore’s fictitious film “An Inconvenient Truth” depicted San Francisco, Florida, The Netherlands, Beijing, Shanghai, Calcutta and then Manhattan. disappearing under rising oceans.

“But this is what would happen to Manhattan, they can measure this precisely,” Gore warned.

Obviously, Manhattan is still above water. Al Gore would frequently repeat this claim about New York City, settling at one point that 2013 would be the year it meet the fate of the lost city of Atlantis.

“Some of the models suggest to Dr. (Wieslav) Maslowski that there is a 75% chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years,” Gore said in a speech.

The claim was based in part on purported melting in Greenland, which has roughly the same ice coverage today as it did in 1980, and just had its lowest spring melt in the past decade. The National Snow and Ice Center explains why Greenland’s ice is not in danger of melting.

“Above average snowfall for the past two years over the southern continent may equal or exceed the amount of ice loss from excess outflow from the glaciers and seasonal melting,” the NSIC explains.

Gore also predicted in 2006 that the ‘snows of Kilimanjaro’ would be wiped out in the next decade. The snows, however, defied the prognostications. He predicted an increase in hurricanes, only for the number of hurricanes to decrease.

This isn’t just to pick on Al Gore. Apocalyptic climate change warnings have been debunked time and time again over the last 50 years: Everything from the ‘coming ice age’ in the 1970s to acid rain and the ozone layer crisis in the 1980s to global warming predictions in the 90s. These failed predictions have one consistent theme: Left-wing proselytizers have repeatedly tried to weaponize such ‘science’ to serve their radical agenda. And part of their socialist playbook means demonizing anyone who dares question them.

But sealing the deal that the multi-millionaire Gore doesn’t believe his own climate change dogma is that he bought a beachfront home in Montecito, California in 2010, still owns an energy-sucking mansion in Nashville, and flies in a private jet around the globe, including to a ‘climate summit‘ with hundreds of other supposed ‘environmentalists’ in 2021.

If Al Gore believed that ‘climate skeptics’ were akin to Uvalde police officers who didnothing while a massacre took place, then he should count himself as a fellow deputy. Beyond Gore’s incendiary rhetoric about global warming, he has taken no personal action during his purported crusade that shows he takes it seriously.

Real science demands skepticism. And Americans have every reason to be skeptical of a charlatan who has ‘rules for thee, but not for me.’

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
