AOC Caught in Ethics Violation, Lover Found on Staff Payroll
BY JAMES LEDBETTER
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has been in the news a lot lately. Most of the time, it is because of her lack of knowledge. Yet, this time, it is for something completely different. She has committed an ethics violation that no one can ignore.
Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) may be to so alt-left that even 2020 presidential hopefuls are following her socialist agenda, however, not everything is going so well for the New York Democratic darling.
Interestingly, someone on Twitter put her on blast for suspicious behavior in her headquarters. It involves her boyfriend, web developer Riley Roberts.
While you were having a nice Valentine’s Day, @AOC decided to put her boyfriend on staff – drawing a salary on the taxpayer’s dime. Nice to see her adapting to the swamp so quickly. pic.twitter.com/bvncwzxY53

AOC was quick to hit back but seemed to be unprepared for the response. Additionally, she should have taken her own advice in regards to fact checking. Unless they were secretly married recently, Riley is not her spouse but is her boyfriend. (More lies by the Democrats)
AOC countered with this:
Actually this cal designation is a permission so he can have access to my Google Cal. Congressional spouses get Gcal access all the time.
Next time check your facts before you tweet nonsense.
Fox News wrote:
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is facing ethics questions after revelations the freshman lawmaker’s office gave her boyfriend a congressional email account.
The democratic socialist waded into the issue in response to a tweet alleging boyfriend Riley Roberts had been put on staff. The tweet included a screenshot of an official House email address. Ocasio-Cortez insisted that he was only given the email account so he could access her calendar.”
Jordan Haverly tweeted back with an excerpt from the actual law:
Just going to leave this here. From the Committee on House Administration’s IT policy. pic.twitter.com/Kd75nF17pT

AOC was recently taking heat for publishing her proposal for the “New Green Deal” that brought amusement to the entire Twitterverse. She had backing from 2020 Democrat hopefuls who hadn’t even read the proposal at the time before jumping on the bandwaggon. The backlash caused her to remove the proposal from the GOV website which sparked many internet MEMES.
Moreover, many are expecting Speaker Nancy Pelosi to address this ethics violation. WFP reached out to Pelosi for an official statement. However, she has not yet responded to the request.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
