Biden says he recently met with long dead French President Francois Mitterrand

Biden may have been referring to current French President Macron.

President Joe Biden said at a campaign event that he recently spoke with French President Francois Mitterrand, who died in 1996.

“Right after I was elected, I went to what they call a G7 meeting, all the NATO leaders. I was in, I was in South England,” Biden recalled about a 2021 meeting. It is unclear what countries were present at the meeting, since most NATO nations are not G7 members and Japan, a G7 member, is not a NATO member.

“I sat down and I said, ‘America is back,’ and Mitterand from Germany, I mean France, looked at me, and said, said, ‘You know, why, how long you back for?'” Biden said to laughter.

Biden may have been referring to current French President Emmanuel Macron.

The president’s mental fitness has been under intense scrutiny ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
