President Joe Biden and his family were seen without a mask while visiting the Lincoln Memorial Wednesday night, hours after the President signed an executive order requiring masks on federal property to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Wearing masks isn’t a partisan issue – it’s a patriotic act that can save countless lives. That’s why I signed an executive order today issuing a mask mandate on federal property. It’s time to mask up, America,” Biden wrote on Twitter Wednesday night.

Less than two hours after the tweet was posted, Biden was photographed on federal property without a mask.

“Does Joe Biden’s new executive order mandating masks on federal property not apply to Joe Biden while he’s on federal property?” Turning Point USA’s founder Charlie Kirk questioned.

“Because here he is at the Lincoln Memorial with no mask just hours after signing it.”

The President cannot force cities and states to impose mask mandates but can impose mask mandates on federal property. The federal property includes post offices, the VA, national parks and memorials and planes.

President Biden signed the “100 days masking challenge,” instructing federal agencies to comply with the CDC guidelines on masks and social distancing and it applies to federal buildings and federal lands.

“This executive action will direct the agencies to take action to require compliance with CDC guidance on mask wearing and physical distancing in federal buildings, on federal lands and by federal employees and contractors,” Biden administration Covid-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients said.

He added, “And the president will call on governors, public health officials, mayors, business leaders and others to implement masking, physical distancing and other public measures to control COVID-19.”

“Biden signed a mask mandate requiring everyone who is on federal land to have to wear masks. Here is Biden tonight at the Lincoln Memorial, which is on federal land, not wearing a mask,” Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra wrote on Twitter.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
