Author’s note: It is always difficult to write about something mired in taboo. If I would have continued writing about pot-holes, and uncut cemeteries in my local paper, life would be a lot more simple, and safe. Instead, I choose to write about relevance, both controversial and dangerous to both our Christian Faith, and our Republic.

Yes, fear has gripped my heart as I have studied, but this has to be put aside by a stronger obligation. Obligated to the point where my own life is regarded as secondary… but why? Well,  I love God and Country, my family and all of humanity, and it is being challenged by a power so strong that I can virtually see the eminent destruction of everything I so love and hold dear, vividly. Isn’t it true that one can have little to live for if he can find nothing to die for? Yes, I think that an ultimate truth.

An honest Israeli Jew tells the Real Truth about Israel  (UTube)

Raised a Roman Catholic, I was taught by The Sisters of Christian Charity and the Jesuits, and I admit now that I have struggled and grappled with my faith my whole life. As I studied ethics and comparative religions, I wore the Star of David around my neck, the Buddha on my desk, and a crucifix above my bed, and not so much out of rebellion, but the hunger to experience and to learn. I also studied mass communications, and world history, and found a profound dissimilarity in its recordings. Opinions, and slants are not necessarily truth, not a truth like the chemistry and math I used as a fluid engineer… Indeed, truth is in the eye of the beholder… and that is where a standard comes in. Truth has to be based on a standard…

Specific to this essay, I put the star back into my jewelry box after reading the Torah. As a Gentile, I found myself betrayed by that book, and I suggest all Christians read it end to end. I also found what I consider evil in the Old Testament, specifically in Deuteronomy and Leviticus, and though I see Obama as a true bane on America, an old speech where he questioned these books are one of the few times I have agreed with him. I blanch to say it, because he is a Progressive, a Communist, a Marxist, and I consider those creeds my deadly enemies. And yet, these ideals are grasping our Democratic Republic based on law by the jugular, and most Americans can not understand it. They can not, because they get truth from a black box. A black box owned and operated for an agenda… their agenda.

Just like any blogger of worth, truth is paramount. When one puts his name on a writing, the primary motivation should be to promote truth as you find it, based on honor. Still, this subject is a complicated one, and I’ll try to give both food for thought, and links to further study. However, those who have an agenda, or blinded by their own twisted self righteousness, will resort to calling me names, and I no longer care. I no longer care, because I have a standard, and that standard helps me to be brave. I have no agenda but to help, as I see that both Christianity and my beloved America is at risk, and I see it coming from all directions at once, both external and from the inside out. It is the reason Europe no longer has civil liberties, churches are being sold as high-end condominiums, and all means of defense taken at the point of a gun.

The expanse of this essay is primarily to define the term Christian Zionist. In the process you will see the ultimate demise of Christianity in America, just as what has happened in Europe. Along with it you will comprehend the complete destruction and dismantlement of our Constitutional Republic based on law as well. And as you view the video to the left, you will grasp not only the impossibility of a Palestinian State, but those who now control America for a decade, by a coup, can not be challenged even by the amazing evidence and inconsistencies of 9-11, which, without a doubt, they played a part in. They are a power who controls us monetarily, and owns nearly all mass communications from Hollywood, news papers, magazines, and television. An entity who suckles on the largest middle class ever to exist, and has taken them into an unprecedented debt slavery, along with the annihilation of our basic civil liberties. Civil Liberties our fathers died to give us…

Please take the time to look at the video I have provided on the left. It is produced by a Israeli Jew, and I think true.

Christian Zionists

Christian Zionists regard the Old Testament as a preamble to the New, and faithfully hold it with equal validity. They embrace the Jews as the “chosen people: of G-d”, and that they will be used to fulfill Christian Bible prophecy. In the process they do not question… but actually condone what the Church State of Israel does in the name of G-d.. They are convinced that through the Jewish people the second coming of Jesus will occur, that all is justified to help that along, and that God loves the Jews above all others. It is their hope that Jews will be converted in the last days, and yet secular Jews are using this faith base to both ransack and in-debt the entire world. Both men and countries are but  chaff to their will to control…

They acknowledge that the Jews are “lost” for not accepting Jesus as Messiah, but accept their wrongdoings and transgressions of the laws of men as “God’s will.” And what they do, from land theft, ethnic cleansing of indigenous populations, to the overt apartheid against the Palestinians… they envision, in their mind’s eye, that God will miraculously reestablishing a new kingdom he so promised to Abraham in the Old Testament.

The destruction of the Dome of the Rock and the building of the 3rd Jewish Temple in Jerusalem is supported by them, and the expansion of Israel’s borders from the Euphrates to the Nile at any cost, is justified. The death and displacement of non-Jews are regarded as collateral damage, as they believe it is the will of God. Many of them believe the United States of America should always put Israel first, that indeed, it is the very reason for America’s existence, and any condescension, any question of Zion Israel, is a damnable sin against God.

AIPAC, and other Jewish lobbies are a powerful force, with banking, the Federal Reserve, and the media at their backs, and they put unrelenting and constant pressure on the US Congress to do their bidding. Anyone who displays, or has ever displayed any negativity for the actions of Israel are not allowed to participate in the American Government. And anyone who is found to respond unfavorably toward them are quickly purged from the ranks. Christian Zionist are in complete agreement, and fervent supporters of this mindset, and together they virtually control America.

Last week the NSA admitted it gave Israel all of Americas personal and private information, from phone records, to emails. So entrenched in our Government, Zionists are the only ones allowed to hold duel citizenship.  Questioning this, or even to show concern for this, is considered by them to be treasonous, and this is the primary reason Roman Catholics are now on the terrorist list.  This year they faced off again with Zionist progressives, refusing to participate in Obama Care, and the threats to them after are well documented.

The largest part of the Christian Zionist spectrum believe that the “in-gathering” of Jews in Israel is a prerequisite for the Second Coming of Jesus. This belief is primarily, though not exclusively, associated with Christian Dispensationalism. The idea that Christians should actively support a Jewish return to the Land of Israel, along with the parallel idea that the Jews ought to be encouraged to become Christian, as a means fulfilling a Biblical prophecy has been common in Protestant circles since the Reformation.

Many Christian Zionists believe that the people of Israel remain part of the chosen people of God, along with the “ingrafted” Gentile Christians [Romans 11:17-24] (dual-covenant theology). Christian Zionists became supporters of Jewish Zionism with the vernacular translation of the Bible by English Puritans, and primarily based on one sentence taken from Romans 11, which begins:

“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.”

“Among the principal relevant prophetic texts are those found in the Jewish Bible or Old Testament in the Book of Daniel, the book of Isaiah and the Book of Ezekiel, and those found in the New Testament in the Book of Revelation. These Old Testament books describe the Apocalypse, meaning literally the “unveiling”, a vision of an eschatological event or end times. The Book of Revelation, or “Αποκάλυψις Ιωάννου” in the original Greek, puts forth an early Christian eschatological view which has been interpreted in many ways. The Roman Catholic study Bible as well as the doctrines of most mainline Protestant denominations caution that Revelation is an allegory. However, some Christians, including many evangelicals and fundamentalists, read Revelation as a prophetic script containing a timetable to the future End Times. The contents of these books are discussed in the relevant articles, particularly in the Book of Revelation. (Who some Catholic scholars believe to be written about true history of the time, and others metaphorical).

Christian support for the restoration of the Jews was brought to America by the Puritans who fled England. In colonial times, Increase Mather and John Cotton, among others, favored restoration of the Jews, but it was not until the early 19th century that the idea gathered impetus. Ezra Stiles at Yale was a prominent supporter of restoration of the Jews. In 1808, Asa McFarland, a Presbyterian, voiced the opinion of many that the fall of the Ottoman Empire was imminent and would bring about the restoration of the Jews. One David Austin of New Haven spent his fortune building docks and inns from which the Jews could embark to the Holy Land. In 1825 Mordecai Manuel Noah, a Jew who wanted to found a national home for the Jews on Grand Island in New York as a way station on the way to the holy land, won widespread Christian backing for his project. Likewise, restorationist theology was among the inspirations for the first American missionary activity in the Middle East.

As the demise of the Ottoman Empire appeared to be approaching, the advocacy of restorationism increased. At the same time, the visit of John Nelson Darby, the founder of dispensationalism, to the United States, catalyzed a dispensationalist movement and an evangelical revival. This was expressed at the Niagara Bible Conference in 1878, which issued a 14 point proclamation, including the following text:

“…that the Lord Jesus will come in person to introduce the millennial age, when Israel shall be restored to their own land, and the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord; and that this personal and premillennial advent is the blessed hope set before us in the Gospel for which we should be constantly looking.” (Luke 12:35-40; 17:26-30; 18:8 Acts 15:14-17; 2 Thess. 2:3-8; 2 Tim. 3:1-5; Titus 1:11-15)

In United States politics, Christian Zionism is important because it mobilizes an important Republican constituency: fundamentalist and evangelical Protestants who support Israel. The Democratic Party, which has the support of most American Jews, is also generally pro-Israel, but with less intensity and fewer theological underpinnings.

Disapproval by other Churches

Jerusalem Declaration on Christian Zionism

Main article: Jerusalem Declaration on Christian Zionism

The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem (Catholic), the Syrian Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, have recently joined together in order to proclaim and to publish the Jerusalem Declaration on Christian Zionism (August 22, 2006). This Declaration rejects Christian Zionism for substituting a political-military program in place of the teachings of Jesus Christ.[12] The statement is very critical of Christian Zionism because it views it as providing a worldview where the Gospel is identified with the ideology of empire, colonialism and militarism. Palestinian Christian leaders have also been very vocal in supporting the “Kairos Palestine” document calling for a boycott against Israel until it stops its discriminatory policies in the Palestinian territories.

United States

The General Assembly of the National Council of Churches in November 2007 approved a resolution for further study which stated that the “theological stance of Christian Zionism adversely affects: •    justice and peace in the Middle East, delaying the day when Israelis and Palestinians can live within secure borders •    relationships with Middle Eastern Christians {prior reference to the Jerusalem Declaration on Christian Zionism} •    relationships with Jews, since Jews are seen as mere pawns in an eschatological scheme •    relationships with Muslims, since it treats the rights of Muslims as subordinate to the rights of Jews •    interfaith dialogue, since it views the world in starkly dichotomous terms”

The Reformed Church in America at its 2004 General Synod found “the ideology of Christian Zionism and the extreme form of dispensationalism that under-girds it to be a distortion of the biblical message noting the impediment it represents to achieving a just peace in Israel/Palestine.” The Mennonite Church published an article that referenced what is called the ongoing illegal seizure of additional Palestinian lands by Israeli militants. noting that in some churches under the influence of Christian Zionism the “congregations ‘adopt’ illegal Israeli settlements, sending funds to bolster the defense of these armed colonies.” As of September 2007, churches in the USA that have criticized Christian Zionism include the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and the United Church of Christ. And Zionism dispels any possibility of the Preterit understanding that Christ came to Earth, to end the Old Covenant that God made with Man, and begin a new Covenant with Man. In doing so, it ended the old Jewish ways and instilled a new path for the forgiveness for sin, and that through a perfect human sacrifice Jesus Christ.

The film With God On Our Side, by Porter Speakman Jr. and Kevin Miller (the latter of whom also co-created the film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed), criticizes both the underlying theology behind Christian Zionism as well as its negative influence on the church.

Special thanks to Roger Landry with the Liberty Beacon who is a light of truth, and the compilation of excerpts from Wikipedia, who I consider unbiased in this assessment.
