Citizens and Lawmakers begin to say no to military equipment

Last week Infowars reported on shocking footage of a Washington State sheriff deputy stating that armored military vehicles are needed to battle “constitutionalists” who are stockpiling weapons.

Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich is backing the deputy who made the comments. He said that his deputy may have used “broad brush strokes” in referring to constitutionalists as potential enemies. However, government documents from multiple agenices leaked over several years are very deliberate in the use of the word “constitutionalist” along side phrases like “domestic terrorist.”

Is Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich aware of the system-wide training of military and police to take on gun owners and Ron Paul supporters?

A 2012 document from the Department of Homeland Security called Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States, 1970-2008 stated that Americans who are “reverent of individual liberty” could be terrorists.

A 2001 pamphlet from the Phoenix FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force said that “defenders of the Constitution” could be terrorists.

The mainstream media is not showing the wider picture that the buildup of military equipment across the country is occurring amidst a background of military and police training for martial law. Manuals from multiple government agencies target constitutionalists, Ron Paul supporters, Christians, and even individuals who want to “make the world a better place.”

A Department of Defense training manual leaked last year revealed that servicemen and women were told that the founding fathers would not be welcome in today’s military. The document demonizes “extremists” who “…will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”

In 2009 a document leaked from the Missouri Information Analysis Center painted libertarians and Ron Paul supporters as terrorists.

An entire fake town has been built in Virginia, complete with Christian churches and subways, for the military to train for urban occupation.

As military equipment is finding its way to local police departments across America, sheriffs are standing up for the Constitution and citizens are refusing to accept intimidating war machines on their streets.

Citizens, Sheriffs stand up

Not everyone is as excited as the Spokane Police Department to receive surplus military equipment. As reported early this year in the Wall Street Journal, some municipalities are saying no.

Republican state Rep. J.R. Hoell sponsored a Bill introduced in the New Hampshire legislature to ban municipalities from accepting military vehicles without voter approval. Hoell says that “This seems over the top and unnecessary to have this level of armament.”

Last year former Marine Colonel Peter Martino told Concord City Council in New Hampshire that “What’s happening here is we’re building a domestic military.” His comments were in response to a proposal to purchase a BearCat armored vehicle.

In another example of individuals standing against tyranny; A Judge in Pennsylvania agreed with Perry county sheriff Carl Nace in his stand against auditors who tried to force him to reveal the names of concealed carry permit owners. Huntington County Judge George N. Zanic said that “The [lawsuit] seems to be nothing more than a fishing expedition for information unrelated to the [auditors’] statutory duty to audit.”

The buildup of armaments across the nation is occurring during a time of increasing tensions on multiple fronts. It is not an isolated incident, but rather a system-wide campaign to prepare for widespread violence. Flashpoints of economic collapse, deliberately provoked racial tension and abuse of executive power are calumniating to produce an explosive situation that many analysts believe could lead to another civil war in America.

Violence in Ferguson, Missouri has framed the debate over militarized police around race, but deeper issues of centralized power and tyranny enforced with the use of military equipment is a far greater concern to constitutionally minded citizens.
