Elon Musk to file massive lawsuit against Media Matters over ‘fraudulent’ attacks

Tech billionaire Elon Musk announced Saturday that he would be filing a lawsuit against the left-wing organization Media Matters due to a “fraudulent attack” on the social media platform X, formerly called Twitter.
This announcement comes shortly after multiple companies, including IBM, Lionsgate, Disney and Apple, said they would be pulling ads from X, according to The Hill. On that same day, Media Matters released a report that alleged advertisers were having their ads viewed near “white supremacist content.”
This happened shortly after Musk was slammed by the White House for engaging with a post on social media they denounced as antisemitic.
“The split second court opens on Monday, X Corp will be filing a thermonuclear lawsuit against Media Matters and ALL those who colluded in this fraudulent attack on our company,” Musk wrote on X.
The European Union also announced it would halt its advertising on the platform.
In his statement attached to his post, Musk alleged that Media Matters “completely misrepresented the real user experience” with the report and “misled advertisers.”
