France moves to make abortion a constitutional right, but why?

ER Editor: France is about to enshrine the right to an abortion in its Constitution. Which seems entirely unnecessary and odd simply from that point of view. Women have automatic access to state-funded abortions up to 14 weeks anyway, which hasn’t been under any kind of threat.

And the ironies abound. For those who celebrate this move (including men) as women having control over their bodies (abortion is seen very much as a ‘victory for women’s rights’ issue in France), the same people simply forget that the entire nation, women included, didn’t have rights over their bodies when Covid genetic injections were virtually being forced on them, based on a lie. And people who refused and were forced to resign, such as healthcare workers, still haven’t been reinstated. How quickly people forget; how context-specific is people’s way of thinking. And now many vaccinated women are having fertility problems against their wishes. You simply can’t make this stuff up. Which, being the conspiracy theorists that we are, makes us wonder what’s really on the agenda here.

This is a decent explainer on the topic —

Why is France making abortion a constitutional right?

Philippe de Villiers, a Catholic and former government minister, gave a decent critique of this move recently. The video is below, but we’re summarizing his main points in English here (IVG is the term for abortion or ‘avortement’ in France):

  1. There can be no conscientious objection on the part of anyone, including medical staff. It is the end of personal conviction. It’s the end of the Hippocratic oath relevant to not killing.
  2. It’s the end of freedom of expression. The ‘parole de vie’ (translation: word of life) is finished. Any speech or action to defend the life of the unborn will be criminalized following the passing of this constitutional change.
  3. It opens the way for eugenics, to eliminate the weak because of their genetics. Life is no longer an absolute. (ER: We already knew this with respect to the Covid injections, surely.) The constitutional change is a passport to other sorts of changes.
  4. (Translation) It is the race to the abyss of a civilization in perdition. It is a progressive type of dehumanization. Historian de Villiers links this to the decline of Rome.

Another underhand, Orwellian way to present ‘rights’ and ‘freedoms’ as Functional Tyranny.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
