Free & Equal Presents: Presidential Debate at FreedomFest

By: Roger Landry (TLB)

Once again The Liberty Beacon would like to present the latest (upcoming) major event by Free & Equal Elections. We are all aware of the limitations on the two party debates, and relish the open debates provided by this grass roots organization. Presented is the information for said event. Below the article are links to past episodes of TLBTalk Radio with Christina Tobin (Free & Equal Founder, and Longtime TLB Friend) as my guest helping to define the mission of Free & Equal. Christina will also join me again next week (Sunday June 16th, 12-1PM Central) for our 6th monthly TLBTalk Radio show about Free & Equal and its vital mission.

Upcoming Event

Las Vegas, NV – June 8, 2024 – The Free & Equal Elections Foundation is pleased to announce that Congressman Thomas Massie will moderate the Free & Equal Presidential Debate at FreedomFest on July 12 from 5 PM to 7 PM PDT at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. Congressman Massie will co-moderate the debate with Free & Equal Founder Christina Tobin.

“We are honored to have Congressman Massie moderate the third debate in our 2024 Presidential debate series,” said Tobin. “Having a publicly elected Congressman moderate a presidential debate is historic and underscores our commitment to opening up a respectful dialogue.”

Free & Equal uses the cumulative debate format to ensure a fair and comprehensive discussion on pressing issues of the current times, allowing each candidate to effectively communicate their viewpoint to the public. This debate will feature candidates across the political spectrum, reflecting the growing number of Americans seeking alternatives to the two-party system.

“As someone who’s voted for third-party Presidential candidates in past elections, I look forward to helping broaden the national discussion by moderating this important debate,” stated Congressman Massie.

To qualify, candidates must meet the following criteria: 1) be constitutionally eligible to serve as President and 2) have secured ballot access in a sufficient number of states to have a mathematical chance of securing the Electoral College majority in the upcoming election or receiving more than 2% in a national poll that meets The Free & Equal Election Foundation polling standards.

Candidates invited to the debate include:

  • President Joseph Biden (Democratic Party)

  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (Independent)

  • Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party) Confirmed

  • Dr. Jill Stein (Green Party) Confirmed

  • Randall Terry (Constitution Party) Confirmed

  • President Donald Trump (Republican Party)

  • Dr. Cornel West (Independent)

Invitations have been sent out, and candidates have until the end of June to confirm their participation.

The Free & Equal Presidential Debate will be livestreamed on Rumble. Additional broadcasting partners will be announced later this month. For more information about the debate and its qualifications, visit Free & Equal.

To view the debate in person, attendees can register for a day pass or full conference pass by visiting Freedom Fest. To apply for media credentials, visit Freedom Fest/media-kit.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

  1. I love this!!! Had brief discussion with Rick Walker of Maverick News (Canada) about it the other day (off-air). This is needed, and hope TRUMP avails of this opportunity we know BiDUMB will avoid like the Plague (as saying goes). THIS would be a REAL and actual HONEST Debate that we need. I have concerns about criteria #2 (but I get it, can’t have ME declare POTUS 2024 Candidacy and DEMAND entrance to Debate stage for Debate, as if could I would LOL) but I sure want ALL those mentioned to indeed be ON THE STAGE! We need their input, but at same time the REALITY of the FARCE of the “Third Party” Candidates thing (zero chance at POTUS, but it WOULD be great if the other Parties could get some Elected into Congress (at least House) rather than just local Dog Catcher seats (and, yes, with Jessie Ventura REFORM PARTY Gov election EXCEPTION) and make the Majority Caucus thing more a “thing” by having several Parties Caucusing for/on both Left/FASCICRATS and Right/GOP Caucuses to help Govern.
