First, sure hoping you had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Next, gotta say (as Quoted in my CTP2 book Quotations chapter and a #JoeOriginal): “The Left doesn’t know, and they don’t want to know, cuz they do know ‘just enough’ that if they really knew, their delusional bubble would burst!” Yep, relates to their idiocy on EV’s and the inconvenient Facts about the Slave Labor, dirty air, and other things, they will never, ever, admit THEY SUPPORT (show Leftist this piece, or at least the Videos embedded on “Inconvenient Facts” (parts 1 and 2) down-thread).

I was at an Eatery the other day and having to wait in the Lobby to be seated. Also waiting was another Person whom we just happened to pull up in the Parking Lot about same time, both us Parking the Pontiac Vibe vehicles we own (his a 2003, mine a 2009) side-by-side in the Lot, so we struck up a Conversation about Cars and unaffordability (of fresh off the line Cars) these days.
And, yes, I am usually long-winded, this one I am going to just more or less provide some bullet-points as food-for-thought and let you have at it more in your own Mind.
1. The Cost of Vehicles (and not even the ridiculous EV’s) has gotten out of control. Most of that Cost is due to Government Mandates/Regulations. You know, the Reverse-Darwinism (yet, Left supposedly LOVES Darwin – but ignore “Survival of the Fittest” concept): protect the Stupid from themselves. And it is also by design as Left who claim care so much about the Poor want them all on Public-Transit and unable to leave their 15 minute Cities Left/NWO/WEF Utopia nightmare… err… “dream” … if you believe them.
2. Cash for Clunkers! Idiot #obaMAO and that farce – which then by Law/Regulation those Cars traded-in for the Credit were required to be Crushed. Yes, of course, the point was to get old, worn, potentially dangerous, vehicles off the roads. However, and of course, the idiocy of Left never, ever, thinking anything through and UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES (many good cars, could have had some minor touch-ups and/or repairs, could have been turned-around for Re-Sale) which took many Used-Car (Market folks) out the Market as (Supply and Demand) less Supply caused those Prices too also to soar.
3. Regulations! Already touched-on; will harp on again (and just one item in the #WeThePeopleDemandList (aka: #WTPDL) parts 1 and 2 TLB pieces dropping in December 2024). Government forcing certain “protections” to “protect” the Stupid from themselves – and as result more people are actually now more reckless out on the roads making matters even worse. Like I was on Criminal Justice Corner and discussed Tyreek Hill’s Speeding idiocy, Reese Witherspoon’s DUI, as well as Justin Timberlake’s DUI, and how people may not grasp they all relate.
4. Ford/GM, Chrysler now not really a US Automaker, exemption for “Special Car” concept. In-my-opinion not only do we need relax many Regulations overall and permanently, but…. How about this idea. How about for Ford/GM (again, our only REAL Automakers owned/operated fully by USA Incorporated entities (Chrysler became Italian with Fiat and now with whatever they’re called – French run, European wants/needs/desires centric)) we create a one-time, Special carve-out, to relax for them to create, build, sell, a Vehicle (one per Subsidiary), that people (Poor people especially, you know The Leftards pretend Care about, but really want them Priced out and forced onto Public Transportation) can afford!!
Remember, it was not all that long ago many things were “optional” (you wanted them, no problem, you PAY EXTRA for them, not increase cost of all Cars by 10-20-30-40 percent). Drop Air-Bag requirements, drop ABS related over-complication (for anyone actually knows how to drive), and other items. This would allow them to Manufacture a FAR LESS EXPENSIVE and more affordable Vehicle. And, OK, make those Buying them Sign a Fed. Govt. exemption from protections waiver! You know you’re not getting these things; you understand and agree to Waiving of the normal Regulations otherwise would apply! SIMPLE! COMMON-SENSE! But Left cannot deal in Common-Sense nor do they want Poor People driving around in their own Vehicles!!
OBVIOUSLY, we are not talking letting them make the Frame out of Legos or some such silliness – but, of course, The Left would SCREAM about any relaxation of anything in Vehicles now that not long ago (as already said) were strictly OPTIONAL. That is ALL we’re talking about here!

5. Now, has to be said, some of those “savings” will be offset by increased Insurance Costs. Someone’s first new Car, Insurance usually are going to Charge a bit more cuz, obviously, duh, Repairs and Replacement Costs are Higher than with Used-Cars. Also, I owned a DeLorean (sure cannot afford a side-car now, cannot barely afford keep my paid-off 09 Vibe on the road and with Price of Gas still up-too-high I use UPSIDE APP to save every penny I can), I know all about scarcity concerns for more limited-run Vehicles, especially as that Fleet grows smaller and smaller but more importantly the Supply-Parts-Chain diminishes. And, of course, any NEW Model-line does not yet have ACTUARY-TABLE data about short and long term Life of Vehicle, Safety-Record, that takes time to them build-in and calculate so Costs higher at first (and then, if they become a Theft magnet, well…. obviously…. factors too…)! And, of course, clearly issue without Air-Bags potential injuries/deaths increases (so maybe too an Insurance Waiver needed to, limited/lessor Personal-Injury and/or Lawsuit coverages).

6. Bottom-line, overall, this could EASE a lot of Economic concerns, especially after runaway #BIDENflation caused by #BiDUMB, The #KAMALunist, #SandTards, et al, #COMMUnomics and #InflationProductionAct (Green New Deal Money-Laundering to their Families, Friends, and Donors, AGAIN, not about what Title claimed (and, same with fake “Infrastructure” Bill was same, leaving our real Infrastructure issues still a problem (especially the Help need be worked to assure our Power-Grid is hardened and the like))). [NOTE: FYI: Just as I started this Rough-Draft 4th week of Oct for dropping in Nov – we then had a Citywide Power outage here in Wyandotte MI. Thankfully what I thought would be an all-day thing, was restored (at least for my part of town) in 1.5 hours. Thank You Wyandotte Municipal Service for your quick work. Still wondering WTF however?!?! Mention, of course, makes my point about Infrastructure concerns!!!!]

I have also now become aware of SCOUT brand EV’s coming 2027. I have not seen the body concept and/or expected Electric-Vehicle-range, but their coming Pickup and SUV will have unique Gas-Powered-Generator build-in (so, no, not a Hybrid) that can/will allow Gas-powered extended range or Charging. SCOUT is “technically” a subsidiary of VW, but is operated and Vehicles produced (semi-autonomous, yes obvious pun intended, Sub-Company) in United States!

Morons at MSN Report COST OF AVERAGE CARS OVER $50k……
Especially from 1 (before) to about (now) 10 mandated AirBags! Give me chance to sign a Waiver for just good-ole seat-belts again (and crank window, manual locks, etc.) and you’ll be able to cut LARGE AMOUNT off that $50k.
I used to work for an Auto Supplier 2.5 decades ago and they STILL HAVEN’T LEARNED as there are corners can be cut putting some addl same parts (more than they do, and I mean at the level you don’t see (as well as same head/tail lights instead of virtually every darn car having their own unique design, and even down to the likes of) like fasteners, same rim sizes for same tires, etc. things they could get reduced costs in bigger bulks but Engineers are idiots looking to over-complicate EVERYTHING and think they are PICASO and trying create Masterpiece, rather than Engineers caring about end cost practicalities).
MY RESPONSE (SHORT, in this piece’s comments): I wrote on this a few months ago (B4IN, later dropped via TLB) “Government Regulations and Automobiles” (eventually to be long series Govt Regs and a b c d e f .. z driving up costs Americans cannot afford) but it is NOT (as much as I hate to say it) ALL Fed. Govt’s fault (but still MOSTLY, as Automakers moved to some things they basically knew IF DIDN’T would be mandated to eventually). It is very simple, as I said in my article on TheLibertyBeacon and BeforeItsNews – carve an exemption to scale back things that Buyers can sign Waiver “understand do not have usually mandated items a b c x y z” and many will be happy to do so – especially for those that mostly need a Car for about Town not long hauls on Freeways.

in which I outed the Feds as major culprit but then go into pretty good detail how it can be FIXED (at least to a small, immediate needs, degree).
LOL, posted on/at a MSN piece about CARS COST ON AVERAGE OVER $50K NOW….. NO SHIT…. They don’t bother talk WHY like I do.
Admins and Engineers that think they are trying to Sell PICASO ART (esp. for “supposed base-level brands marquies (no, no Mercury pun intended)) part of problem, need peeps understand concept of “practical”. Remember when car Headlights came in Round or Rectangle and virtually interchangable (of course if not trying to put the rectangle peg in the round hole)! There is NO REASON many things on Cars need to be as overly-complicated as they make them – of course we expect “fancier” custom parts perhaps on Caddy’s and TownCars; but beyond that it could be simple if they could relearn the lesson of KISS (Keep It Simple S—–). And, of course, let me buy Car with NO AIRBAGS (I’ll sign a Waiver) and that will drop it by at least 10%-20% right there.

And the SAME Regulations relaxations concept for HOME BUILDING ZONES in various different States need be made. No, certainly not to dangerous levels, but “some” things can be relaxed a bit and still able to build perfectly safe Houses at far more affordable to build for the Builders and therefore ReSale to Public more able to afford in “Special ‘Cheaper Housing Zones'” – this is NOT “managed Communities” but the Zones would FREE UP those to be able to DESIGN THEIR OWN “lower cost units designs” for benefit who would want/need one. Complete OPPOSITE of the NWO “15 minute” complete managed #CommieFasciSocies edict areas – UNLEASH THE FREE MARKET!!!!
LOL, just gotta laugh. I was greatly debating whether this piece should have come out before the Election – so much to cover, only so many Saturday’s to cover it all. But now especially after the TRUMP WIN this piece is REALLY HITTING A NERVE among the phony ClimaTard Fraud groups as my email inbox getting filled with HATE and THREATS again. Maybe they’re just HANGRY from all the Thanksgiving Dinner invitations they all said they were REJECTING cuz they could NOT be around people who THINK rather than like them just FEEL about things!
