House Cmte requests interview with Dem donor who introduced Hunter Biden to Kevin Morris

Lanette Phillips had a front row seat to Hunter Biden’s cash-making arrangements while his father was running for president, including his loans from Kevin Morris and the sale of his artwork.

The House Oversight Committee [] requested an interview with the Hollywood producer and Democratic donor who first introduced Hunter Biden to his lawyer, friend, and bankroller Kevin Morris.

Lanette Phillips connected Hunter Biden with his only significant source of cash while his father was running for President. She introduced Hunter Biden to Kevin Morris, the Hollywood lawyer who eventually provided approximately $6 million to Hunter in the form of loans and art purchases, propping up the younger Biden’s lifestyle as his father ran a campaign.

“Given Hunter Biden’s long record of influence peddling, the Committees seek to understand whether Kevin Morris’s substantial financial support for Hunter Biden was intended to benefit, curry favor with, or gain access to Joe Biden. As the person who introduced Morris to Hunter Biden, the Committees believe that you have information relevant to that question,” wrote Oversight Chairman James Comer and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan in a letter to Phillips.

“The Committees must understand the nature of Hunter Biden’s art endeavor. Indeed, the high-dollar sales of paintings by a novice like Hunter Biden raise considerable suspicion given his years of peddling access to his father and capitalizing on the Biden name,” they continued.

In addition to introducing Hunter to Morris, Phillips also connected him with art gallery owner Georges Bergès, who facilitated the sale of the younger Biden’s art. The majority of Hunter Biden’s art sales went to Kevin Morris, who purchased $875,000 worth of art from Bergès’ gallery.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
