Is Google Cooking Search Results for Kamala?

Would anyone be surprised if they were? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Google “growth strategist” Dakota Leazer got confronted by James O’Keefe after telling an undercover reporter that his company had been “definitely coordinating” with the Kamala Harris campaign. He had told the woman, who had set up Leazer on a date, that his platform and other Big Tech companies were promoting Harris in an attempt to “get her to win.”

O’Keefe then challenged him on the statements he made to the undercover reporter, including playing back the clips from that date:

“I don’t feel comfortable,” states Dakota Leazer (@dakotaleazer), a @GoogleGrowth  Strategist, when confronted by @JamesOKeefeIIIand @OkeefeMedia after OMG’s release of undercover footage revealing Leazer admitting Google’s manipulation of search engine results to favor Kamala Harris’ campaign.

When O’Keefe asks Leazer to explain his comments about Google’s coordination, Leazer denies his statements, saying, “I’ve never said that,” despite O’Keefe showing him video evidence. “You’re on video saying these things,” O’Keefe responds, pressing into Leazer’s claim that Google is “reorienting the search engine so Kamala is more favored.” Leazer continues to backtrack, stating, “I don’t want to deal with any of this.”

O’Keefe further questions Leazer on the ethical implications of Big Tech interfering in politics, only to be met with silence. Leazer abruptly abandons his date, making a hasty escape to a nearby Whole Foods, avoiding further accountability.

Be sure to watch the whole video, which dropped on Wednesday, the day after the debate. Reasonable people may think Leazer looks a bit too low-level to reach a definitive conclusion about Google’s intentions, and maybe he just was trying to impress his date. Perhaps, but … Google’s actions at higher levels raise exactly the same suspicion.

For instance, did you know that Google’s attorney in their DoJ anti-trust case helped Kamala Harris prep for the debate that took place the night before O’Keefe released this video?

The attorney helping Vice President Kamala Harris with debate preparation is also defending Google from the antitrust lawsuit brought by the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ), which government transparency advocates say presents a conflict of interest.

Karen Dunn, who is helping Harris prepare for Tuesday’s debate against former President Donald Trump, gave the opening statement Monday during Google’s trial. While there is nothing explicitly preventing Dunn from taking on both roles, experts say the campaign’s decision to work with her should raise concern. …

The DOJ’s lawsuit threatens to break up the tech giant. Last month, U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta, an Obama appointee, held in a 277-page ruling that Google has an illegal monopoly on its search engine.

There may not be anything outright illegal about Dunn’s work for the incumbent of an administration prosecuting her company. It certainly looks corrupt as hell, however. One has to wonder whether this is some kind of quid pro quo that will result in a much different legal approach to Google in a Kamala Harris administration — and just how much Google is assisting Harris outside of debate prep.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
