Ken’s Corner Premier: A Message to My Grandson – Welcome to 13

Ken’s Corner Premier: A Message to My Grandson – Welcome to 13

By TLB Contributing Author: Ken LaRive

To my grandson … Welcome to 13

The longer you wait, the harder it will be. Your mind is set, pre-wired to be you, but when your hormones kick in, you have the ability to choose what direction you go. You can become anything you set your mind to. Anything. You are capable of anything at all. All you have to do is want it, and reach out for it. Remember…. every question you ask will be answered in like kind. Every question, both positive or negative. It is a gift from the light of being, from God, from the firmament.

Ask an empowering question every day, a positive question every day, and as the day wears on, the answer will come to you, no matter how complicated. Your life will begin the moment you take control of your own life, and that you alone are responsible for you, and no one else. Your thoughts are your responsibility, your dreams are your responsibility, and you will realize that the past does not equal the future. Your future does not belong to the people who taught you, a bully in school, your friends, or even your loving parents and siblings. It isn’t anything out there where your strength of purpose dwells, but in you. What you think is who and what you are. Your reality comes from you.

Throughout the history of mankind that spans possibly millions of years, a boy became a man at 13. What was taught and what you learned to that moment was tested, and other men helped these boys to be men. It was done in many ways, in different cultures, but they had one thing in common. To go from the outside to the inside. To become responsible for your own life. The external that influenced you as a boy, dependent on the good will and love of others, will be owned by you… controlled by you, and if you accept it as your own, a power will well up in you that will sustain you until your last breath.

Not all boys can do this. Some never grow up, like in the children’s book Peter Pan. It’s a scary thing taking responsibility for your life, but that transition can take place in a moment, and when it clicks, you will laugh out loud, because all doubt will leave you, fear will be something you will control, and even though you are still learning, your education, your master of business and your study of life is still rudimentary, you will advance one step at a time, growing stronger and more self assured every time you try. One step at a time, by your own volition, you will be the master of your life.

Seek your father’s council, and weigh his every word. He knows you better than you know yourself at this juncture. But know this, you will find that his gift to you is already on your mind and heart, and what you are and will become is not him, me, or any other person who has influenced you in your life. You will be unique, and I will love you.

From the Author, Ken La Rive – We in the Liberty movement have been fighting to take back this country for less than a decade, peacefully and with the love of God and country in our hearts. Our banner has been trampled on and displaced by a multitude of distractions, further eroding our nation and the cause for Liberty. And so, as we are pulled by forces we cannot fathom, powerful entities with unlimited resources stolen from our future, unaccountable trillions printed out of thin air and put on our backs as debt, we must formulate the most pitiful of all questions any patriot might ask in the final hour: Are we going to fight for our master’s tyranny, or are we going to demand the return of our civil liberties and Constitution? Are we going to choose The Banner of Liberty, or the shackles of voluntary servitude? Will it be a war for corporate profit, or a war to regain our ability to self govern, as the blood and toil of our forefathers presented to us, their children, as a gift? I fear that decision is emanate. I fear that any decision will be a hard one, but my greatest fear of all is that the decision has already been made for us.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
