MSNBC Warns of Freedom Trucker ‘Insurrection’ as Biden Faces Vaccine Mandate Uprising in United States

The Department of Justice can’t prove that anyone who rioted on January 6th was guilty of committing “insurrection” against the United States, but that isn’t stopping MSNBC from bandying about the politically charged term to brand those it disagrees with.
The hard left network on Thursday sounded the alarms about the imminent threat of workers striking against government tyranny. It published a sneering “opinion” piece deriding the “far right” cause of people not wanting to be jabbed against their will.
.@milleridriss: We should expect more ‘nationwide insurrections’ like the Ottawa trucker protests for years to come. https://t.co/L3g7DSMoTr

“Around the world, far right activists are watching what’s happening in Canada with fantasies of similar resistance in their own countries,” MSNBC columnist Cynthia Miller-Idriss warned.
You would think a worker’s strike would be right up MSNBC’s alley. But not those kinds of worker’s strikes, it turns out.
“The mayor of Ottawa, Ontario, declared a state of emergency this week, describing the spiraling chaos of protests by the so-called Freedom Convoy truckers against a vaccine mandate as ‘completely out of control’,” the column went on. “The 12-day siege has overwhelmed police and frustrated city residents, with dozens of big-rig trucks blocking roads and honking horns and thousands of other protesters blaring air sirens, setting off fireworks and harassing mask-wearing pedestrians. The Ottawa police described it as a ‘nationwide insurrection’.”
“We should expect more of this in the years to come — in North America and across the world, where the protests have already galvanized the far right,” the MSNBC columnist intoned.
There you have it: If you want free speech and not to be coerced into medical procedures against your will, you are now a member of the “far right.”
The “insurrection” card is a predictable smear from an authoritarian government that is wielding ineffective and immoral Covid-19 mandates. If free people stand up for their legally guaranteed rights with peaceful protests — authoritarian governments are now painting them as “insurrectionists.” This is what is ‘out-of-control.’
The United States’ Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is following this escalation of dangerous rhetoric by condemning dissidents as potential ‘terrorists’ if they spread what the government considers to be ‘misinformation’ about Covid-19 policies or election integrity.
“Key factors contributing to the current heightened threat environment include: The proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions,” DHS stated in a National Terrorism Advisery System Bulletin published on Monday.
“For example, there is widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19,” the DHS bulletin went on. “Grievances associated with these themes inspired violent extremist attacks during 2021. Malign foreign powers have and continue to amplify these false or misleading narratives in efforts to damage the United States.”
That’s right: Free speech is now considered to be a threat to the government — even though the U.S. Constitution guarantees Americans’ right to freedom of speech.
It should thus come as no surprise that the same DHS is warning about a freedom trucker movement brewing in the United States.
“President Biden is facing the possibility of truck driver protests mirroring those in Canada over vaccine mandates…” the Hill reported.
“The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Wednesday warned police partners of protests similar to those in Canada that it said could even disrupt the Super Bowl or the State of the Union address,” the report noted.
“DHS ‘has received reports of truck drivers potentially planning to block roads in major metropolitan cities in the United States in protest of, among other things, vaccine mandates’,” the report said. “The convoy will potentially begin in California early as mid-February, potentially impacting the Super Bowl scheduled for 13 February and the State of the Union address scheduled for 1 March’,” the DHS memo to law enforcement agencies stated.
In Canada, the Freedom Convoy movement has brought pressure to bear on Canadian provinces and have borne results. Alberta and Saskatchewan are dropping mask and vaccine mandates while referencing the national freedom movement.
The U.S. government has misled the American people countless times on Covid-19 and the vaccines. It has compounded these lies with immoral mandates that violate Americans’ rights.
States that respected Americans’ Constitutional rights fared no worse in their Covid policy responses than those that imposed authoritarian mandates. This has slowly become obvious even in blue states, such as Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, which have begun to drop their mandates.
Expect the pressure for peaceful protests, such as a freedom trucker movement, to build as the disparity in quality of life between mandate-free and mandate states continues to increase.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
