ER Editor: Episode 4 brings out some relevant data points as to Brigitte’s real identity. Episode 5 promises us the slam-dunk photo. We’re personally hoping this investigation will break open much more about France’s so-called elites. Candace has hinted at that.

Candace Owens episode 4: Jean-Michel Trogneux, Veronique and Brigitte, a disturbing link?
A 1977 interview shows a transgender person named Veronique, whose voice and language tics eerily recall those of Brigitte Macron. Jean-Michel Trogneux mysteriously disappeared at the same time. Coincidence ?

A brother absent from the official archives
Jean-Michel Trogneux is supposed to have been born in 1945 (ER: making him around 80 years of age currently), but few documents exist on him. Conversely, Brigitte Macron, born officially in 1953, presents a strangely lacunary biography. Owens reveals that Xavier Poussard, author of the original investigation, had to go through court to obtain school documents. Why are these files so difficult to access? (ER: Candace makes the point that these school records are normally available as a matter of public record.)
According to Owens, it is practically impossible to find photos of Brigitte Macron’s childhood. One of the few pictures available is a communion photo in 1963, where the child presented is nothing like the current first lady’. « Why does the school refuse to provide official records ? » asks Owens.
A 1977 interview that raises suspicions
The episode also reveals a 1977 interview, where a person named « Veronique » anonymously testifies to his gender transition. His speech is punctuated by tics of language that strongly recall those of Brigitte Macron. More intriguing still, this « Veronique » declares to have lived with a woman, before marrying a certain Veronique Dreux, just like Jean-Michel Trogneux did on paper.

A brutal disappearance and a crushed past
In the 1980s, Jean-Michel Trogneux disappeared from radar. In parallel fashion, Brigitte Macron emerges as a teacher, but without tangible traces of her school or university past. Owens highlights a troubling fact : « Why does Jean-Michel disappear the moment Brigitte begins to appear publicly? »
The affair takes an even stranger turn with the involvement of Alexandre Benalla, ex-mission officer at the Elysee Palace (ER: The PM’s official abode). Owens reports that, according to a journalist Paris Match, Benalla is said to have supervised a psychiatric ward where Andre-Louis Auziere, ex-husband of Brigitte Macron, was before his death.
In fact, the magazine Paris Match affirms that the’ex-husband of Brigitte Macron, Andre-Louis Auziere, before her death in December 2019, « had become depressed, reclusive in a psychiatric clinic », and that Mimi Marchand allegedly set up, « with Alexandre Benalla, a surveillance system at the doors of his room until his death ».
« Why was the Elysee involved in his funeral? », questions the journalist.
Why the silence?
The first lady and Emmanuel Macron refuse to comment on these allegations. The first defamation complaint targeted Natasha Rey, an independent investigator, but not Xavier Poussard, whose work was essential in the emergence of this case. « Why prosecute some journalists and ignore others’? » wonders Owens.
While the investigation raises many questions, one thing is certain: the story of Brigitte Macron is far from being as clear as they would have us believe. The truth about Jean-Michel Trogneux remains a mystery that the French are entitled to explore. (ER: This is a tepid summary, in our opinion.)
An explosive episode 5
The next episode of Becoming Brigitte’s will have an exclusive interview with Xavier Poussard, who will present unpublished photos reinforcing his investigation into the identity of Brigitte Macron. It should be noted that this man has, to date, never been accused of defamation by the presidential couple.
