Putin Claims US Has Network of Coronavirus Bio-Warfare Labs in Ukraine Weaponizing Pathogens

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sensationally claimed that the US has a network of secret bio-warfare labs in Ukraine dedicated to weaponizing pathogens and coronaviruses.
Putin made the comments during a press briefing.
“They are now trying to sweep up the traces of these secret programs. But we have every reason to believe that in the immediate vicinity of Russia, in Ukraine, components of biological weapons were effectively being created,” Putin said.
“A network of dozens of laboratories operated in Ukraine under the direction of and with financial support from the Pentagon. Military biological programs were carried out there, including experiments with samples of the coronavirus, anthrax, cholera, African swine fever and other deadly diseases,” he added.
The Russian defence ministry also claims it has received documents from Ukrainian lab employees which prove the existence of biological warfare programs being run by the US and NATO on Ukrainian soil.
“I want to emphasise that according to the documents, these studies [on the ways bats transmit diseases to humans] have been carried out in Kharkov on a systematic basis and under the direct supervision of specialists from the United States for many years,” said Igor Konashenkov.
He added that further documents would be made public showing large transfers of human biomaterials from the labs to locations in the UK and Europe.
The US legacy media has attempted to shut down any conversation surrounding the bio-labs by accusing those who talk about it of being Russian agents.
Both Tucker Carlson and Tulsi Gabbard have both been branded ‘treasonous’ merely for expressing concerns about the labs being properly secured.
However, similar fears were voiced by Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland.
“We are now in fact quite concerned that Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of [those labs], so we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,” said Nuland.
As we highlighted earlier this week, China also amplified assertions that the labs were being used to research how to spread deadly pathogens, with Zhang Jun, China’s permanent envoy to the UN, calling for more transparency.
According to Beijing, US biological military activities in Ukraine represent “merely the tip of the iceberg.”
