Rand Paul Blasts Biden For “Begging And Bowing Down’ To Saudis
“It’s not only bad economics, but it’s embarrassing”

Senator Rand Paul slammed Joe Biden Sunday for “begging and bowing down” to murderous authoritarian royalty in Saudi Arabia in a desperate attempt to increase the supply of oil.
Appearing on the John Catsimatidis WABC 770 AM radio show, Paul stated “Rather than traveling to Saudi Arabia, [Biden] should be traveling to Texas or North Dakota, and he should be … asking our country to ramp up the supply instead of begging and bowing down to the Saudis and asking them to bump up their supply.”
“It’s not only bad economics, but it’s embarrassing for him to be over there … begging them for more oil. I couldn’t be more opposed to what he’s doing,” Paul further asserted.
The Senator continued, “Everything the Biden administration has done has been to reduce the supply. They’ve banished pipelines. They’ve banished drilling permits. They’ve banished drilling leases. They’ve stopped the expansion of drilling into ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge), which is a portion of Alaska, which has enough oil to make us completely energy independent, probably for 100 years.”
Yet Biden kowtows to them to try and fix a crisis of his making, instead of changing policies here at home to fix domestic oil production.

How many uncontested arms sales are they going to get out of this? How many more lives in Yemen will it cost? All just to appear as if he’s “helping.”

Labelling Biden’s actions an “all-out attack,” Paul charged that it has scared away investors in American energy.
“It shouldn’t shock any of us that the price [of oil] has shot through the roof. There is a way to fix this. They could immediately start encouraging production [in America],” Paul urged.
As we have highlighted, instead Biden has attacked and threatened American producers.

When asked about the fist bump, Biden laughed and said it was “silly” to ask about the Saudi authorities being murderous:
“You’re coming under a lot of fire for your fist bump with the [Saudi] crown prince.”
BIDEN: *laughs*
“How can you be sure that another murder…won’t happen again?”
BIDEN: “What a silly question.” pic.twitter.com/UqlmMDvFqG

He then suggested that such questions don’t matter:

And as for whether this will result in more oil… who knows:

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
