On Tuesday, Democratic National Committee CEO Amy Dacey stepped down from her position as the Democratic Party’s hacked email scandal roars on. Dacey is the highest-ranking official to resign from the DNC in response to a dump of stolen emails on WikiLeaks. Fox News revealed that two more DNC officials — CFO Brad Marshall and director Luis Miranda — have joined Dacey in resigning their positions.

Dacey follows Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who surrendered her post as DNC Chair right before the Convention began, out the door. DNC Vice Chair Donna Brazile stepped in to run the Democrat’s Convention in Philadelphia last month and will continue acting as interim chair until November.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has been taking over more and more DNC operations of late. In July, her campaign moved the research department into their Brooklyn headquarters, and Politico reports that Clinton’s team has begun combining the two teams’ rapid response responsibilities there as well.

The controversy began when WikiLeaks dumped months of internal DNC emails online, many of which showed DNC staffers bias against Bernie Sanders and toward Clinton. In the days that followed, U.S. Intelligence said they have “high confidence” that the Russian government is responsible for the hack. It was later reported that both the DCCC and the Clinton campaign were also compromised by Russian hackers.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, for his part, has encouraged hackers, stating, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.”
