Show Preface by Host: Roger Landry (TLB)
Hello again and welcome to Episode #94 of TLBTalk Radio on the Republic Broadcasting Network. Let’s wind our way through the chaos and tyranny … But first allow me to get through this intro routine …
Before we jump into today’s topics I would like to once again, say thanks to RBN for the platform, to the shows producer Sam, and to Annie at the ShakeAndWake Radio forum for this show replays on Thursdays, and for also hosting my newest show (with Co-Host Stephen Roberts) Eagle’s Eye Report on Wednesdays from 3-4 PM Central. They are all a very significant part of the weekly success of The Liberty Beacon Project’s Message …
Again I will state that the message I bring to you today is not entertainment, nor is it baseless guesses, or remote possibilities. Most of what I deliver is in your face reality, recorded facts or an inevitability depending on our course of action.
Source Credit: As usual I take my inspiration for each show from current research or from an article recently published on The Liberty Beacon (or one of the other TLB Project websites). Any articles used can be found below the Archived show.
Before we jump into today’s topic I present the following:
The 2nd Annual John Stadtmiller Book Drive!
Two years ago on, November 5th, RBN lost its great founder and leader John Stadtmiller. While his talk radio legacy remains and will continue to echo deep into our dystopian future, he also left behind a great bounty of literature.

Now, on with the show
How Much Security Is Left In Social Security?
How many are 65, or over, today in America:
According to the 2020 Census: 1 in 6 People in the United States Were 65 and Over … The U.S. population age 65 and over grew from 2010 to 2020 at fastest rate since 1880 to 1890 and reached 55.8 million, a 38.6% increase in just 10 years.
What is ‘Social Security’ and how does this effect someone my age (knocking on 70’s door)?
The Social Security Act, signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1935, created Social Security, a federal safety net for elderly, unemployed and disadvantaged Americans. The main stipulation of the original Social Security Act was to pay financial benefits to retirees over age 65 based on lifetime payroll tax contributions. The Act also established the Social Security Board, which later became the Social Security Administration, to structure the Social Security Act and figure out the logistics of implementing it.
Tens of millions of people in the United States have received financial assistance through the Social Security Act since its inception. Still, the program was wrought with challenges from the start and has been a political hot topic for years, its existence threatened time and again.
… as it is again with many economists stating that the program has about ten years (or less) to continue before it is flat broke and unable to borrow more …
Where does that leave someone like me … in ten years … ??? … !!!
Why was money taken (by our government) from that program to be used for other issues, and how does that effect our future SS income … ???
Why Not Do Something Before Social Security Runs Out of Money?
By: Gary M. Galles
As recently reported by Reason’s Eric Boehm, “87 percent of Americans Want Politicians To Do Something Before Social Security Runs Out of Money.” Further, a new Taxpayer Protection Alliance poll reveals that the vast majority of Americans believe policymakers should make changes as soon as possible to extend the life of Social Security to avoid automatic cuts as its trust fund is dwindling (estimated to be exhausted by 2033), and only 5 percent think doing nothing to address it is the right thing to do.
As Boehm summarized, “Perhaps most importantly, 90 percent of voters say presidential and congressional candidates running for office in 2024 should discuss the financial challenges facing the entitlement programs,” for which “ignoring the government’s entitlement-driven debt crisis is not a real option.”
Yet President Biden has demagogued against the idea that reforms are necessary, as in his State of the Union Address …
Yea let’s dive into this …

Welcome to the TLB Project Neighborhood
Stay tuned to …
The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
