Trump Rages After Indictment Unsealed — “This Is Crazy!”
As one might expect, Former President Donald Trump took to Truth social to rage over today’s unsealed indictment against him.
“This is the man who caused the Lois Lerner catastrophe with the IRS,” Trump wrote, adding, referring to special counsel Jack Smith. “He went after Evangelicals and Great Americans of Faith.”
“His wife is a Trump Hater, just as he is a Trump Hater—a deranged “psycho” that shouldn’t be involved in any case having to do with “Justice,” other than to look at Biden as a criminal, which he is!”
Trump also slammed President Joe Biden, who “had records for years, totally unsecured, even stolen when he was a Senator.”
“This is crazy!” exclaimed Trump. “Under the Presidential Records Act, I’m allowed to do all this. Under the Clinton Socks Case, the decision is clear. There was no crime, except for what the DOJ and FBI have been doing against me for years.”
“Biden moved his Boxes all over the place, including to Chinatown and up to his lawyer’s office in Boston. Why isn’t deranged Jack Smith looking at that?” Trump asked.
Trump also highlighted an appearance by John Yoo, a UC Berkeley law professor, who said that the Biden administration is “using these charges to go after their primary challenger,” calling them “serious issues.”
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called the indictment a “dark day” for the country in a Thursday tweet.
“It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him. Joe Biden kept classified documents for decades,” he said, adding “I, and every American who believes in the rule of law, stand with President Trump against this grave injustice. House Republicans will hold this brazen weaponization of power accountable.”

The 49-page indictment against former President Trump was unsealed Friday, and contains 38 counts covering seven criminal charges, including willful retention of national defense information, corruptly concealing documents, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and making false statements.
