The one true source for the truth is in our hearts. it is a consciousness that lives within us all. We watch new reports, read books and listen to speakers and lecturers yet all that we see, that we hear that we know, is history. Even as a second passes it is still history. We must look to the future if we are to solve our issues in this life. Learn from the past not relive it.

We must start at home. We must begin teaching our children about moral and consequential values, not capitalist and imperialist natures, but the nature of love and forgiveness, acceptance and tolerance, peace and compromise with moral and integral thinking. ” If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher.

Abdul Kalam”

In the world today there is much distrust, hate, violence and bloodshed over ideologies and greed. We as a civilization must advance ourselves to be able to overcome the burden of national romanticism and greed that has enslaved so many all over the world. It does not matter that one is Christian, Buddhists, Jewish, Islamic, Shiite or Sufi, what matters is that we follow our hearts, our truths, our conscience. Only when mankind can see past the veil that is illusion of freedom can we as a world of intelligent, compassionate caring human beings evolve to the point of non violent aggression and unite for the greater good of all.

Semantics’, Political correctness and pride so many times is a prevailing factor in many discussions among people in the world and even between the “leaders” of the world. We must all learn to be leaders, for when all mankind is but a follower then the ideals and treachery of those with only the want and need of greed and power, and with the wealth to accomplish their goals will prevail.

Hate and racism, along with prejudice and pride have destroyed many nations and kept many people apart through history. This is the history we learn, the history we live, the news we watch and the world we are living in. When we come together as a world, when we truly can look at others knowing that we are all human, we all have a need for safety, comfort and love, when we can look to the oppressors of these values and say no more, we will not comply will we be able to overcome their heavy handed enforcement of regulation, manipulation and control they possess over the cultures of the earth.

DO not let my words be taken as passive. The way to peace is not through arms, and wars and uprisings. When a civilization makes a statement to the world that “we will no longer be your slaves, your puppets and your pawns, but we will stand together for peace, for unity, for brotherhood and for love the world will then see a change in humanity. To have war one must have soldiers that are willing to kill, to die and to fight for a cause. When that cause is vague, when that cause is false, when that cause is shown to be the very root of the conflict and the nature of the war itself many can and will be able to look within themselves and lay down their arms. In a world of non combatant resistance to tyranny, the powers that be lose their objective of who to fight, soldiers will look within themselves and see the injustice in this and in turn, many will turn from their handlers and refuse to fight an unjust unfounded war as well.

We must realize that the truth, is within ourselves, and the cure, is also within ourselves. No one can do this for us, it is us, the people of the world that must make humanity seen, that must make the values of peace and love and unity for the better good of our civilization known to those who cannot see. some will say that this is a fanciful dream that is unrealistic. I will say that it is afanciful dream that is only held back by those who refuse to try to attain peace by insisting that peaceful and non violent conflict will stop the oppression, the control and the greed of those who cannot see the importance of maturing to a state of realizing that war only brings more war, that violence only brings more violence. In any “war” there must be a winner and a loser. In this scenario, the loser will always feel oppressed. This is not a victory, even if one wins the war, the hatred and contempt continue quelled only by what is seen as oppression and tyranny upon another’s beliefs and ways of life.

  1. The quote by Kalam in the article included reference to the impact of “the father, the mother and the teacher.” I didn’t think the article stressed the importance of who one chooses as their “teacher.” The quote is from someone who follows Islam. Followers of Islam have the false god Allah, and the teachings of Muhammad and his followers, as their “teacher.” Not good, in my opinion.

I follow Jesus Christ, the one true God. We are told in the BIBLE (the one true Word of God): “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked…”, Jeremiah 17:9, (part).

“…those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. ” Matthew 15:19. .

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7.

Ultimately, as the Bible says to: “…Walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; But know that for all these God will bring you into judgment.” Ecclesiastes 11:9, (part).

We are to enjoy life, but not to commit sin. What is sin? It’s defined most accurately in the Bible…not the Koran.

  2. You quote Abdul Kalam. He is a Muslim. He may be a nice man who means well, but he is following a false religion. The truth is not within us. “…the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” I John 1:7-9, (part).
