Little Ol’ Gal From Austin

By: Karrie (The Puck!)

I’m sixteen years old. I’m going to be in 11th grade. Due to the pandemic I had to revert to homeschooling, and now, because of my career, it looks like that is where I’ll be. I was born in Austin Texas, of course I really don’t remember. I was born at exactly 8:54 p.m. January 16 2007.

The first two years were spent in North Austin in a place called Berry Creek. It wasn’t really a creek. It was a fault line, so it might be said I lived on a crack in the world. Berry Creek was an upscale neighborhood complete with a Country Club, an eighteen hole golf course, swimming pool and the works. My first memories were being taken to the Club in a golf cart to eat Chicken. To me chicken was any meat from swordfish to hamburger. There was a big picture window that we always sat by with a beautiful view of a magnificent fountain on the first hole of the golf course. Because of my diabetes a chef would come out and inquire about my sugar. I couldn’t read much at two years old I really couldn’t read but due to my blood count I could count like crazy!

I watch a lot of TV, a pandemic habit, especially K-dramas. After Berry Creek I moved to Killeen Texas, but my Mom was scared for me and my brothers because of how dangerous our neighborhood was, so we moved to Utah. Killeen was an army town with all the amenities and I watched a lot of TV there. When we first got to Utah, the one thing I loved there was the mountains. They were so high and it was the end of summer but the top of the mountains still had snow on them, and in my six year old eyes that was so cool. I learned that the Mormons came over those mountains, including my great, great, great grandpa, Porter Rockwell.

We moved into an apartment for the first year living there. The first time I saw snow I looked out of the apartment window and had no idea what it was, so I asked my mom ‘what’s that white stuff out there?’ Mom told me ‘that’s snow, Karrie’ and I asked ‘What’s snow’ to which she replied ‘Go outside and find out’ so I went outside (note that I was in a tank top and shorts) and ran right back inside to my mom saying ‘It’s freezing out there’ my mom laughed and said ‘ I know.’ My dog, Cleo was so small that the snow swallowed her up showing only her tail that looked like a submarine periscope.

Because of the family business I’ve always been exposed to the entertainment industry. Back in 2007 I was the first baby to ride a Rumba vacuum around the halls of our Berry Creek home. When Roger wanted to put me on the radio I was scared to death, but he got me through it. I like baseball and singing, but I also like all Kinds of music especially alternative. I’ve been in several studios but other than some YouTube work I haven’t cut a record yet. My favorite celebrities are Stray Kids. I love doing shows with Roger on TLB Giving Our Children a Voice because I get to give a lot of my opinions in them. I’m a Z Generation kind of girl, but I am born in Austin, raised in Salt Lake and now just outside of Nashville. Guess that makes me mostly Republican.

Very soon I’m going to be acting in a lot of movies including Karly and Gabe. Y’all look for me. Actual movies will be new for me. My producer tried to tell me the difference between 35mm film and an iPhone but I still think and iPhone is easier. I’m surrounded by people from California showing me how to act. Being on the radio is easier.

I’m looking forward to writing more of these articles, doing shows and creating entertainment for my fan base. I hope this article was very helpful in getting to know me better. I hope to get to know you better.

Thanks for Reading this!

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
