Zelensky Visibly Agitated – Trump Dominates Meeting at Trump Tower

Trump Citing ‘Very Good Relationship’ With Putin

(ZH) – Tensions were certainly on display before and during the Trump-Zelensky meeting at Trump Tower in New York. Going into the meeting, both men looked stern-faced, with Trump making a series of casual remarks which appeared aimed at gently belittling the Ukrainian leader and putting him in his place. This comes days after Zelensky went after J.D. Vance, and came close to directly criticizing Trump himself for calling for ceasefire and talks with Moscow.

We have a very good relationship, and I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with President Putin. And I think if we win I think we’re going to get it resolved very quickly,” Trump said in comments made before the press going into the meeting. But that caused an agitated Zelensky to poke back:

“I hope we have more good relations,” Zelensky cut in.

“Oh, I see,” Trump responded. “But it takes two to tango, you know, and I we’re going to have a good meeting today. And I think the fact that we’re even together today is a very good sign.”

As a result of this awkward exchange the mainstream media and possibly the White House itself is going to pounce. Trump will once again be painted as a GOP leader doing the bidding of Putin.

But it is refreshing to hear a political leader who could be the next president so unashamedly call for robust diplomacy, and who understands the urgency of getting ceasefire negotiations going to bring an end to the countless deaths and suffering in Ukraine.

Throughout the meeting, Trump looked to be his usual casual, in-control, and freewheeling self, which clearly put Zelensky and the Ukrainian delegation on edge.

At another moment, just as the meeting began, it seemed Trump in his less than subtle way was making it clear who is boss

Trump in the aftermath of the Zelensky meeting said that he “learned a lot” and said that ultimately “we both ant to see a fair deal made.”

It is as yet unclear what the Republican presidential nominee thinks of Zelensky’s ‘victory plan’ – which was presumably presented in the Friday late morning meeting.

The NY Times has meanwhile summarized Zelensky’s week of visits in D.C. and New York by emphasizing his ‘star power’ is fading fast, also as Ukraine forces are on the retreat in the country’s east. The situation looks bleak for Kiev and Zelensky’s hopes indeed…

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

1 Comment on Zelensky Visibly Agitated – Trump Dominates Meeting at Trump Tower

  1. Here are the names of the vermin guilty of genocide and calling for genocide in congress and US government:

Harris & Biden and all of their administration, starting by the jew Blinken (israeli citizen) and Defense Secretary Austin.

The US has sent so many arms to the Israeli regime since October 7 that the Pentagon has struggled to find sufficient cargo aircraft to deliver the ammunition.

Blinken told Netanyahu, “If you’ll permit me a personal aside, I come before you not only as the US Secretary of State but also as a Jew.”
Austin: During one of his many visits to “israel”, Austin declared, “I am here in person to make something crystal-clear: US support for Israel is ironclad.” On December 2, 2023, Austin stated that “the United States will remain Israel’s closest friend in the world. Our support for Israel’s security is non-negotiable. And it never will be.” On December 18, 2023, Austin declared that American support for Israel is “unshakeable.”
On April 9, 2024, Austin told the US Senate Armed Services Committee that the Pentagon had “no evidence” Israel was committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
“The United States will always support Israel’s right to defend itself, and the United States will always ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself.”
In June, Austin revealed that since October 7, he had spoken with Gallant over 50 times by phone.

Elon Musk : In November 2023, several American celebrities, including the CEO of Tesla and X Elon Musk, visited the occupied territories. During his visit, he met with Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.

Mike Johnson, US House Speaker: In an April interview, Johnson defended Israel when questioned about Palestinian children being killed in Gaza

    Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan Governor

Gavin Newsom (probable jew and WEF ‘young global leader’) California Governor expressed unwavering support for Israel. Newsom visited the occupied territories on October 20, 2023, to show his support.

Josh Shapiro (jew) Pennsylvania Governor: Shapiro denounced pro-Palestine protests opposing the Gaza conflict as anti-Semitic. In April, Shapiro likened pro-Palestinian student protesters to the Ku Klux Klan.

Pete Buttigieg (WEF ‘young global leader’) Transportation Secretary: openly expressed support for Israel.

Donald Trump: endorsed Israel’s war on Gaza, asserting his support for continuing the assault until “total victory” is achieved.
On May 12, Trump described pro-Palestine protesters as “anarchists, jihadist freaks, and anti-American extremists who are trying to tear down our American flag.” “If you come here from another country and try to bring jihadism, anti-Americanism, or antisemitism to our campuses, we will immediately deport you. You’ll be out of that school,” he stated.

Tim Walberg (jew): ,Michigan Republican Representative declared that the US “shouldn’t be spending a dime on humanitarian aid” in Gaza. Walberg stated that Gaza should be treated like “Nagasaki and Hiroshima—get it over quick.”

Lindsey Graham Senator said on October 11, “We are in a religious war here, I’m with Israel.” Graham advised Israel to “do whatever the hell you have to do to defend yourself. Level the place.” And stated that no amount of civilian casualties in Gaza would prompt him to scrutinize Israel’s conduct.
Tom Cotton Senator, R-Ark, remarked, “As far as I’m concerned, Israel can bounce the rubble in Gaza.”

Max Miller Ohio politician predicted that Palestine would soon be “eviscerated and turned into a parking lot.”

Brian Mast Florida Representative wore an Israeli military uniform in Congress as a show of support. In October 2023, Mast introduced an amendment to slow down humanitarian aid to Gaza, stating, “Any assistance should be slowed down—any assistance.” In January, when asked about the babies killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, Mast replied, “These are not innocent Palestinian civilians.”
He also stated there’s “more infrastructure that needs to be destroyed” in Gaza and called the
UN aid agency for Palestine, UNRWA, “moronic.”

Andy Ogles, Tennessee Republican: , “I think we should kill ’em all (Palestinian babies).”

LET’S START BY KILLING YOUR BABIES FUCKING ASSHOLE!

Brad Sherman (jew): accused a Palestinian American of “trying to kill every Jew.”

Dan Goldman (jew): “Israel is a democracy in an area surrounded by terrorists.” claimed the reported death toll of children killed in Gaza was false.

Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner (jew), stated that “Gaza’s waterfront property could be very valuable,” that Israel should bulldoze an area of the Negev desert and move Palestinians there.

Greg Abbott, Texas Governor : said the anti-genocide protesters “belong in jail” and described the protests as “hate-filled, anti-Semitic events,” insisting that anyone participating should be expelled.

Mitch McConnell Senate Republican Leader: called the protests “a dangerous situation” and stated, “there’s also antisemitism, which is completely unacceptable.”

John Kirby described Israel’s use of GBU-39 bombs as “indicative of an effort to be discreet, targeted, and precise.” GBU-39 bombs are used to exterminate children and other civilians.

Among other proofs of guilt from the US:

The US House passed a bill barring the State Department from using Gaza Health Ministry’s daily death toll statistics. THIS IS TYPICAL AND CLEAR GENOCIDE COVER-UP

Netanyahu received 52 standing ovations from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers.
Vice President Harris condemned the pro-Palestine protests outside US Congress.

On May 1, the US House of Representatives passed the so-called “Antisemitism Awareness Act.” The Antisemitism bill, which equates anti-Zionism with antisemitism and seeks to curb criticism of the Israeli regime, is also making its way through the US Senate.
