Conservatives, pro-lifers face political violence after Biden called Trump supporters ‘threat’
Several attacks occurred in traditionally Red States.
Several high-profile instances of political violence targeting conservatives have happened across America, including the death of a North Dakota teen and the shooting of an elderly pro-life woman, following President Joe Biden’s allegations that former President Donald Trump and his supporters are a “threat” to the United States.
“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden said in a Sept. 1, speech in which he also accused conservatives of promoting “authoritarian leaders” and fanning “the flames of political violence that are a threat … to the very soul of this country.”
An 84-year-old pro-life woman is recovering after she was shot in the back and shoulder in Michigan last week while canvassing against Proposal 3, a measure that would enshrine the right to an abortion in the state’s constitution, Real America’s Voice reported.
Several of the attacks occurred in traditionally red states.
In a Houston suburb, two volunteers for Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s reelection campaign were assaulted last week, Fox News reported. The suspect chased the volunteers through the neighborhood, ripped off the side mirrors from the vehicle they were in and attempted to pull them out of the car, officials stated.
In North Dakota, a man was released on bond last month after he allegedly ran over 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson because he thought the teen was a member of a “Republican extremist group.” Police records show the suspect, 41-year-old Shannon Brandt, had a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit of .08.
Several GOP offices have been vandalized over this past month as well, including offices in Colorado, Michigan and Florida, according to Fox News. Additionally, a pro-life pregnancy center in Oakland County, Mich., was reportedly vandalized with the threat, “If abortion is not safe neither are you.”
Deputy White House Press Secretary Andrew Bates told Fox that “President Biden condemns these attacks and has been clear that violence, threats of violence and vandalism are absolutely unacceptable — regardless of who is committing such acts or why.”
However, a purportedly leaked FBI guide in August listed the Second Amendment, the “Betsy Ross flag,” and Jan. 6 protester Ashli Babbitt as “Domestic Violent Terrorism Symbols” used by militant extremist groups in the United States.
Last week, Just the News obtained a copy of an FBI whistleblower complaint alleging that the agency is creating false domestic violent extremism statistics.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
