Facebook to take down ‘anti-vaxx’ content
Facebook wants to take down posts by “anti-vaccination” activists after Democrat US Congressman Adam Schiff demanded that Facebook, as well as Google, should pay attention to stop “anti-vaxx” content.
In its response to Schiff, Facebook promised that it would remove content about vaccinations from recommendations to its users and would “demote” such information in searches on its platform.
In a letter addressed to the CEO’s of Facebook and Google, Schiff noted: “As a Member of Congress who is deeply concerned about declining vaccination rates, I am requesting additional information on the steps that you currently take to provide medically accurate information on vaccinations to your users, and to encourage you to consider additional steps you can take to address this growing problem.”
Facebook responded that it was “exploring additional measures to best combat the problem,” according to Bloomberg.
Measures to stop anti-vaccination campaigners may include “reducing or removing this type of content from recommendations, including Groups You Should Join, and demoting it in search results, while also ensuring that higher quality and more authoritative information is available”.

“Ethyl mercury in the form of thimerosal was tested on mice that experienced spontaneous systemic autoimmune disease with high mortality from just 5 mg of thimerosal put in their drinking water and spread out over 7 weeks. Even more thimerosal is used in vaccines around the world […]
“The science is settled folks, that mercury accumulates in human tissue, including the brain, so every single vaccine that contains it makes matters worse, further damaging the central nervous system, the brain’s functions, and the developing child’s immune system […]

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our main websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … TLB
