Is Money the Root Of All Evil?

It has been said that all of the evil of this world is rooted in money. As a Libertarian, I have questioned this assertion, and as I have cast this out as a question, it has returned to me.  It is the universal law of attraction, you see, as what you seek you will find in like kind. Ask the right question, and the right answer will be a gift…

And all of life is a connection too, and without a doubt…as I started this quest by the study of the Crimea region of Ukraine, who is seething and again in turmoil; men against tyranny. And there I saw the link that brought me here… that it was in this area that one of our greatest American minds were born, Ayn Rand. And now, as elements of Russia’s tyrannical government threatens our tyrannical government, the question begs to be understood… that the only group of people who want a WW3 are the bankers, while everyone else wants peace, love, security, and a way to make a living.

So it was poised: “Is money the root of all evil?”

Surely, that must first be considered, as Christians are taught this from the American King James Version early on…“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” And while one can not argue that faith is a powerful force, perhaps there is more to this assertion than meets the eye. Religious institutions do ask for a 10 percent tithing of our labor, along with our good works, so perhaps they understand the source of this monied evil too, and where it originates… and as God gave us a mind, and an intellect so great we have been inspired to know the “I am,” he gave us the ability to formulate an answer…. You see, we indeed need money… Money makes the world go round, and without it we could not survive as a culture. The entire world depends on men who get payment for services rendered, in many a variety and form. And so, in the middle of this quandary, I read Ayn Rand, from a Libertarian perspective…

When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you, you may know that your society is doomed.” – Ayn Rand.

And in the process of searching Rand, I also found others who saw the worth of her words and promoted her thoughts, and from this I bring to you a man named Maloney. He, and those who work with him in like kind said this about their mission to help the world:

“To enlighten the world that maximum prosperity can only be achieved through individual freedom, free markets, and sound money.”

And in a documentary they produced (the first one), it states a profound truth:

Your true wealth is your time and freedom. Money is just a tool for trading your time. It’s a container to store your economic energy until you are ready to deploy it. But the whole world has been turned away from real money, and has been fooled into using currency – a deceitful imposter that is silently stealing your two most valuable assets – your time, and your freedom.

Author’s note: I have, my friends in Liberty, included a video above that quotes an amazing find in the text of Ayn Rand, as read by Malony. You will know it is truth… you will see in it the very key to our American exceptional-ism, the very essence of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and the salvation of our very souls… by the tears they elicit. We were given tears, not only to cope with what we can not control or for what fear we have for what we can not comprehend, but also in the recognition of the light of truth, the forge of hope for a future void of tyranny. Tyranny sir, is the root of all evil, and money is the tool for that end.

It is not the money that is evil, just as those who propose that guns are, but tools or weapons welded by the hearts and minds of men, manipulated by their own design. And as all men, to the very last, know the difference between right and wrong, and that what they do indeed has consequences. And as you dress in your new suit and attend another board meeting, you will see first hand the many unhappy, forlorn, and discontented men of power, as they have come to realized that element of truth too… that we will all, to the very last man, get exactly what we deserve… It is the Law of the Golden Mean, and the Law of the Highest Potential… It is Karma, the Teachings of Jesus Christ, and it unifies us all.

If we could gather this insight into our minds and hearts, America could be saved… It is never, never too late. Even if there was only one man left who could say: “Give me liberty, or give me death.” there will be hope. Know too that the future is not set in stone, and sometimes an ideal can be salvaged before the final destruction… before it has to be revived from the very ashes…

It is up to us to carve descriptive footnote of our Republic. It can be the very last words written under the lies we call history, or the truth that can light up the world. It does not have to read: “We were too blinded to see…” But instead, there is the distinct possibility that we can save what is left, and build on it like our founding father’s so longed to explain. And there, on the base of the fountainhead we take as our own: “Truth came to us as a revaluation as we looked deep into a reflection of our ways… and we found our reason for being just in time.”

One last note…

Bible : “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil” —> Mike Maloney is making the case that money = productive capacity, therefore to LOVE money = to LOVE production.

The Bible quote is not intended to diminish HONEST PRODUCTIVITY (ie, MONEY), but that it is making the case that money, in and of itself, is nothing without PRODUCTION. To “LOVE” money (according to the Bible) is what Wal Street and the Federal Reserve have done – it is not what “we the producers” have done.

1 Timothy 5:18 For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages [MONEY!!!].”
