Janet Napolitano Steps Down as Head of DHS

BIG SIS STEPS DOWN AS HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND (Fatherland) SECURITY TO INDOCTRINATE THE NEXT GENERATION OF AMERICAN YOUTH WITH HER FASCIO-LIBERAL IDEOLOGY OF OPPRESSION

Janet Napolitano, better known to those in the blog world as “Big Sis,” said on Friday that she will be resigning as head of the Department of Homeland Security. Like many in the Obama administration have done, she is… jumping ship and says she will be resigning to run the University of California system. Oh goodie!

The former Arizona governor has been nothing but a lightning rod for controversy and incompetence since taking the role and with the current immigration debate waging, her record on the issue of border security is dismal at best, though some will attempt to defend her record.

“The opportunity to work with the dedicated men and women of the Department of Homeland Security, who serve on the front lines of our nation’s efforts to protect our communities and families from harm, has been the highlight of my professional career,” Napolitano said in a statement. “We have worked together to minimize threats of all kinds to the American public.”

“After four plus years of focusing on these challenges, I will be nominated as the next president of the University of California to play a role in educating our nation’s next generation of leaders,” she concluded.

No doubt that leftist leaning people like Janet Napolitano being in education is as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than having them in positions of authority.

Speaking of those who would attempt to cover for her, Barack Obama issued a statement in which he said she had extraordinary dedication to her job.

“She’s worked around the clock to respond to natural disasters, from the Joplin tornado to Hurricane Sandy, helping Americans recover and rebuild,” he said. “The American people are safer and more secure thanks to Janet’s leadership in protecting our homeland against terrorist attacks.”

One could wish Obama’s statements are true. However, one would merely have to point out incidences such as, oh say the Boston bombing and the Ft. Hood shooting. Let’s not forget her plan to teach Border Patrol agents to run, hide and throw things instead of shooting or the nine Border Patrol stations that were shut down across four states. Remember it was on her watch that a Border Patrol agent and an ICE agent were murdered with guns supplied by her boss’ ATF bureau under the Justice Department.

Let’s not forget how the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) escalated far more intrusive measures that even George W. Bush imposed, by applying naked body scanners that were easily defeated, invasive body searches, and a myriad of thefts from TSA agents.

We should also recognize that under Napolitano, Immigration and Customs (ICE) agents were not allowed to fully enforce the law, even going so far as to punish one ICE agent for arresting and illegal immigrant. Part of that was due to Obama’s on policy of not enforcing the law, something that is his main job description. They are have filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration over the policy.

Under her leadership, patriots, Christians, preppers and many Americans were designated as potential terrorists, while Islamists were given the green light to be “safe and peaceful.”

Far from keeping America safe from terrorists, Obama and Napolitano brought in the following Muslim Brotherhood operatives to help influence U.S. Policy:

Arif Alikhan – Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Mohammed Elibiary – Homeland Security Adviser.

Rashad Hussain – Special Envoy to the (OIC) Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Salam al-Marayati – Obama Adviser, founder of Muslim Public Affairs Council and its current executive director.

Imam Mohamed Magid – Obama’s Sharia Czar, Islamic Society of North America.

Eboo Patel – Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.

Corruption didn’t come along in DHS under Napolitano though. It was going on long before her as Julia Davis described. Davis was a former Customs and Border Protections Officer, who was falsely declared a domestic terrorist and subjected to retaliatory efforts against her by the Department of Homeland Security, including having her home raided by a 27 man “special response team” under the Bush administration.

However, Napolitano will more than likely be replaced by someone even more of a figurehead than she was, who will just continue the push towards a totalitarian state. The ones pulling the strings behind her are even more sinister. American is better off without her in that position, but there is a danger in her new profession of overseeing university education. I’m wondering just how many senators will be stepping up to confirm Obama’s nominee for the new head of DHS.
