Judge Jeanine to Mueller: ‘Time to give up your phony investigation, get yourself your own criminal defense attorney’

by Tom Tillison

Fox News Channel’s Judge Jeanine Pirro laid out a damning case against the most unlikely of suspects in the Russian collusion investigation — special counsel Robert Mueller.

In fact, Pirro went so far as to tell Mueller in the “Opening Statement” segment of Saturday’s program, “It’s time to give up your phony investigation and get yourself your own criminal defense attorney.”

Pirro went into painstaking detail of the many dubious aspects of Mueller’s probe, to include the actions of the many players involved and the “inaccurate and unverified” Steele dossier that’s at the center of the probe, as she presented some hard-hitting questions.

“Bob, my questions to you — how could you possibly be investigating Donald Trump when there is absolutely no credible basis for your investigation?” she asked. “And what the hell have you and your Trump-hating prosecutors come up with in the last 19 months other than a tax evasion case that does not involve Donald Trump, Russia or collusion of any sort? And should be prosecuted by a regular U.S. Attorneys office. And not you!”

“But more important, Bob, is what you are hiding? And protecting? As you continue with your fraudulent investigation,” Pirro continued.

The former prosecutor then answered her own questions.

“In 2009 a Russian oligarch named Deripaska was asked by the FBI to give millions of his own money to fund as FBI operation,” Pirro said, while noting that Mueller was head of the bureau at the time.

“The man courting the Russian oligarch for money was Andrew McCabe, deputy director of the FBI. Now, since fired,” she continued. “Now, Bob, in spite of the fact that [Russian oligarch Oleg] Deripaska had been banished by the United States three years earlier in 2006, because of his organized crime affiliations, your FBI asked him to fund one of your operations? More important, after Donald Trump was elected, Deripaska is asked by the FBI to help corroborate the Steele dossier?

“Deripaska himself stopped at the idea they colluded with Russia. Quote, ‘You are trying to create something out of nothing.’”

She noted how Mueller left this Russian oligarch’s name out of the Paul Manafort indictment, even though the former Trump campaign manager had contact with him, inviting him to attend a campaign briefing.

And then she went back to the questions, damning questions, about the dossier, the man behind it, Christopher Steele, and his interactions with the FBI.

And the Russian oligarch.

“Why did it take us four months to find out why you fired Peter Strzok?” Pirro continued. “Why would US, for millions of dollars, from a Russian oligarch, banned from the United States, to fund and FBI operation? Should you even have asked the oligarch for tens of millions of dollars and for his services? Because that’s a crime, isn’t it, Bob? I’m sure you know the Antideficiency Act prohibits you as a government agency from accepting voluntary services. And if it came out that you took money, Bob, from an Russian oligarch whose name you intentionally left out of Manafort’s indictment, that would be an embarrassment, wouldn’t it? Isn’t that why you never put his name in the Manafort indictment? And by the way, isn’t this a classic conflict of interest?”

“And when Deripaska laughed at the idea of Trump collusion with Russia, was that information to give to the FISA court? Are you worried that your prior actions with Deripaska are worthy of its own grand jury investigation?”

Pirro then lowered the boom on the man not likely to face such questions from the rest of the media.

“Bob, I really think it’s time for you to give up your phony investigation,” she said in conclusion. “And get yourself your own criminal defense attorney.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our main websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … TLB
