KEN’S CORNER: Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s All About Love!

KEN’S CORNER: Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s All About Love!

Commentary by TLB Contributing Writer: Ken LaRive

God’s greatest gift…

This, to me, is the biggest divide in Christianity. God created us all, gave us a soul, and threw the dice. He knew every conceivable way the dice might fall in our lives, but what we do can change the outcome, to our last moment on earth. That gift is called free will. When it is written, “let there be.” That is the reference. Giving thanks and positive affirmation is one thing, but asking God to re-throw the dice is something else. God can not be bought.

I remember a story about a young man who was in a car wreck and needed blood. They tested his younger brother and Found him to be a match. They asked him if he would give his blood to his brother, and without hesitation said yes. They connect the tubes quickly, and life giving blood started flowing to the young boy, weak and hardly able to move. The young brother asked the doctor: Am I going to die now? You see, that is the love of Jesus. He had misunderstood, and thought he was sacrificing his life. That is agape love. But there is far more to this story…

That boy showed us what the greatest gift this life has given. He took control of his life, took responsibility for it, made a decision that only free will can give. From it, all fear is gone, and we take control of our lives. Sure, there are times when we can find no control over the situation, and prayer pours from your very soul.

A loved one dying in hospital, five minutes before a battle, and you will see true pain and fear… and tears will flow out of anguish, frustration, and some will even blame God for the circumstances. Yes, taking responsibility for your life is a hard decision to make, and coming to the realization that God can not, will not, intervene with the dice.

Yes, God Loves you, and is empathetic to your situation, but if he intercedes, you sacrifice his greatest gift to you, your free will. You would become a pet, enslaved, manipulated, coerced, and that one element that separates you from every other life form on earth, your consciousness, your ability to make a decision, will no longer exist. It’s what you lost as your ancestors were driven from the metaphorical gates, never to return to a garden of Eden.

Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s all about Love.

From the Author, Ken La Rive – We in the Liberty movement have been fighting to take back this country for less than a decade, peacefully and with the love of God and country in our hearts. Our banner has been trampled on and displaced by a multitude of distractions, further eroding our nation and the cause for Liberty. And so, as we are pulled by forces we cannot fathom, powerful entities with unlimited resources stolen from our future, unaccountable trillions printed out of thin air and put on our backs as debt, we must formulate the most pitiful of all questions any patriot might ask in the final hour: Are we going to fight for our master’s tyranny, or are we going to demand the return of our civil liberties and Constitution? Are we going to choose The Banner of Liberty, or the shackles of voluntary servitude? Will it be a war for corporate profit, or a war to regain our ability to self govern, as the blood and toil of our forefathers presented to us, their children, as a gift? I fear that decision is emanate. I fear that any decision will be a hard one, but my greatest fear of all is that the decision has already been made for us.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
